What is the difference between the proposed minister of defense and the previous ministers?

The representative of Kashan, Aran and Bidgol considered industrial experience, operational knowledge of defense industries, and management experience in the aerospace field as the most important distinguishing features of Mehrdad Akhli, the proposed Minister of Defense, and emphasized that these capabilities can help strengthen defense power and production stability in critical conditions.

Mostafa Moini Arani, referring to the review of the plans and records of Mehrdad Ethaki, the proposed minister of defense for the support of the armed forces in the parliament, said: After studying the plans and management records of the proposed minister of defense, listening to his views and explanations, as well as considering the sensitive conditions of the country and regional developments, I have come to the conclusion that Engineer Ethaki has the appropriate characteristics and capacities to assume this important and strategic responsibility.

He added: What distinguishes Ethical Engineer from many previous ministers of defense is the combination of deep industrial experience, operational knowledge of defense production capacities and management ability at strategic levels.

Explaining the characteristics of the proposed Minister of Defense, the parliamentarian stated: The first characteristic is that he has emerged from the management body of defense industries, unlike the purely military or staff approaches. This background makes him focus on the Ministry of Defense, in addition to military and security considerations, on strengthening production, completing the supply chain, improving industrial capacity and increasing the defense resilience of the country.

He continued: The second feature is deep knowledge and experience within the organization. A manager who has traveled the path of activity and responsibility from the executive and production levels to the highest management levels, is more familiar with the capabilities, limitations, needs and real challenges of the defense industry and can make his decisions based on field realities and production requirements.

The member of parliament considered managerial experience in the aerospace field as one of the other advantages of the proposed minister and said: having experience in advanced aerospace industries provides the capacity to transfer the technological achievements and managerial experiences of this field to other sectors of the defense industry and provide the basis for synergy between the different sets of the Ministry of Defense.

Moini Arani added: The fourth remarkable characteristic of an ethical engineer is a forward-looking view of structural transformation and modernization of defense technologies. Today, in addition to maintaining and developing existing capabilities, the Ministry of Defense needs to reorganize capacities, improve productivity and intelligently use new technologies. The realization of this approach can, in addition to strengthening the defense base, provide the field for the development of advanced technologies and the benefit of the country's civilian sectors from scientific and industrial capacities.

Referring to the special security conditions of Iran and the region, the representative of Kashan and Aran and Bidgol emphasized: The fifth important feature of the proposed minister is his managerial capacity to maintain the continuity of production and the stability of the supply chain in critical conditions. The experiences of the recent war showed that the defense power of the country is not only limited to the possession of advanced equipment, but the continuity of production, the speed of meeting needs and the ability to rebuild capacities in difficult conditions are among the basic components of defense authority.
