Bans on 16 Players and Coach Suspended / Controversial Ruling Against Esteghlal Overturned

The appeals committee of the Tehran Football Federation, in a ruling, vetoed most of the controversial bans and penalties from the Esteghlal vs. Shahin match.

According to the report of "Varzesh Se", it was about ten days ago that the disciplinary committee of Tehran Football Board issued a heavy decision for a mass fight in the match between Esteghlal and Shahin juniors. This decision included 19 rulings and included the suspension of two fans belonging to two teams to heavy fines for players and coaches; A total of 70 months of deprivation and a fine of 7 billion Rials.

Now that this vote has gone to the appeals committee, it has been faced with significant discounts and reduced deprivation. According to the appeal votes of these people, due to their good record and official apology, it was first reduced by half and then the remainder was suspended for six months so that these people have the opportunity to return to the fields early:

1- Parsa Qadri, 2- Milad Nouri, 3- Yasin Ghaffari, 4- Amirsam Deliri, 5- Mohammad Mahdi Gholam Najri, 6- Amir Sarijalu, 7- Amir Mohammad Sam Deliri, 8- Mohammad Taha Ebadi, 9- Hossein Lakhlani, 10- Abolfazl Karimi, 11- Seyed Mithaq Ghasemi, 12- Mehdi Sarlak, 13- Parsa Ghaffari, 14- Amin Haj Mohammadi, 15- Amir Ali Mehrovi and 16- Mohsen Parsa

In the initial decision, the most severe punishments were given to two fans, but now the appeal committee says that Amir Ali Mehrouri (attributed to Esteghlal) faced a reduced fine, but the fine of Amir Keshani (attributed to Shahin) remained a one-year ban from all football activities and 50 million tomans.

Also, the suspension of Esteghlal fans was reduced from 5 games to 2 games and the fine was halved. In another part of this sentence, Parsa Rasouli Salut was acquitted due to the lack of sufficient evidence to prove the violation.
