Bandar Abbas – The Bandar Abbas County police commander announced the seizure of 29,000 liters of smuggled diesel valued at 20 billion rials from a tanker truck transporting fuel.

Bandar Abbas - The police chief of Bandar Abbas announced the discovery of 29,000 liters of smuggled diesel worth 20 billion Rials from a fuel tanker truck.

According to Ambassador Arjan's report, Col. Ali Akbar Moradi, explaining the details of this news, stated: Police officers of the Shahid Mirzaei checkpoint, in the continuation of the implementation of the plan to combat the smuggling of goods and currency, while patrolling and controlling the transport axes, suspected a truck pulling a fuel tanker and ordered it to stop.

He added: After stopping the truck and inspecting it, the officers discovered and confiscated 29,000 liters of smuggled diesel without legal documents.

The police commander of Bandar Abbas city stated the value of the discovered smuggled fuel as 20 billion Rials according to the opinion of economic experts and said: In this regard, a suspect was arrested and after filing a case, he was introduced to the judicial system for legal procedures.
