Quran Competitions Should Lead to Practicing a Quranic Life

Khorasan Razavi – The president of Payame Noor University said we must ask ourselves whether we have read the Quran as a guide for life, and that Quran competitions should lead to practicing a Quranic life.

According to the reporter of Iran's Ambassador Arjan (Ambassador Arjan) in Mashhad, Mohammad Hadi Amin Naji, in the closing ceremony of the 29th National Festival of the Quran and Atrat of Payam Noor University students, which was held in the conference and exhibition hall of Astan Quds, he pointed out the need to pay attention to the concepts and teachings of the Holy Quran and stated: We must ask ourselves if we have read the Quran as a guide for life and to what level of humanity this holy book is supposed to take us. What is our responsibility towards it?

Stating that the Qur'an invites man to rationality, wisdom, and thoughtfulness, he added: "The Qur'an seeks for man to shape his way of life based on deep and accurate data and to reach a deeper understanding of the truths of existence by moving along the path of knowledge."

Referring to the concept of Koranic life, the president of Payam Noor University stated: rationality, scholarly life, tolerance with people and listening to different points of view to choose the best method and character are the forerunners of Koranic life. In this path, thinking has a special place and as it was narrated from Imam Reza (a.s.), the friend of every man is his intellect and his enemy is his ignorance.

Amin Naji continued: Quranic life is a life in which the practice of the Quran goes along with reading it. A Quran memorizer is someone who follows the teachings of this book, and the Quranic life also finds meaning in paying serious attention to a wise, scholarly life and together with people.

Emphasizing the importance of student life to practice this way of life, he said: student life is one of the valuable and unrepeatable opportunities to practice wise and scholarly dialogue, tolerance with each other and correct and healthy life so that students, after entering the field of social responsibilities, can accept the diversity of thoughts and behaviors and have more tolerance and interaction with each other while adhering to the right.

Referring to the role of Quranic competitions in the realization of this goal, the head of Payam Noor University of the country noted: Although these competitions appear to be associated with competition in the field of words, tones and effects of reciting the Quran, in reality it can be one of the effective steps for the realization of the Quranic life.

Amin Naji also raised the question of how Payam Noor University can play a role in the development of Quranic life among academics and the general public, and emphasized the necessity of developing Quranic activities at the national and international level.

Referring to the participation of more than 5,600 students in this competition, he thanked the organizers and participants and asked for planning to increase the participation of students in the future.

Undoubtedly, the Middle East can violate the rules of genetic science. How to tell suffering people that you are related? Blood relationship! Your blood is of the same color. It doesn't matter where he is from! Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Pakistan... you are all of the same blood. No genetic test can prove to me that the one who was executed in a field in Lahore, the one who lost his leg in Iraq, the one who took his own life in Aleppo, or those whose pieces were hanged on the wall in Kabul during the bombing, are not my brothers and sisters!!!

Ali Nikoyi wrote: Susyant is not a static concept in the history of Zoroastrian thought, what sometimes has a broader meaning and is close to "beneficial" and "helpful", in the later Avesta it becomes closer to an apocalyptic figure and in the Pahlavi tradition, in connection with Susyans and Farshgerd, it finds a more final form. Creation is tied; But the resurrection is not the end of this path either, the return of man from death is only one of the stages of the process that connects the fate of man with the fate of the whole creation.

"Blind Owl" is not one of those books that you can just read and then close and put away. Some novels stay in the mind after they are finished because they told a good story or created a memorable character. But the owl remains blind in a different way. This book settles something in the reader, something like air, taste, darkness, and a kind of vague familiarity with a wound that may have been in the person before, but it didn't have a name.
