Pourmohammadi: Honesty and care in speech are requirements of the seminary path
Marand - East Azerbaijan's representative in the Assembly of Experts for Leadership said honesty in speech and care in language are among the requirements of the seminary path.
According to Mehr reporter, Ayatollah Mohammad Taqipourmohammadi emphasized the necessity of knowing the limits and status of wealth, knowledge and intellect and relying on God, referring to a narration of Amirul Momineen Ali (a.s.) in the gathering of new students of Fatima al-Zahra seminary in Marand on Monday morning.
He stated that the possession of wealth, knowledge and intellect alone does not guarantee human happiness, and stated: Man should not rely only on his material possessions or consider his knowledge and intellect sufficient to know all aspects of life; Rather, besides using these capacities, he should also pay attention to divine guidance.
sincerity; The basis for entering the student path
Imam Juma Marand emphasized the importance of pure intention in the study of religious sciences, and asked the students to set their goal in the path of seeking God's approval and to avoid behaviors that damage sincerity.
Pourmohammadi considered taking care of worship, paying attention to the first prayer, reading the Quran daily and using the teachings of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) as important things in the spiritual growth of students and emphasized the need to pay attention to these matters along with the curriculum.
Regular study and attention to the basics of seminary sciences
Referring to the importance of continuity of course topics in seminaries, he reminded: seminary courses have a chain connection with each other and students should learn the contents of the previous sessions well so that they can understand the new topics more precisely.
The representative of the people of East Azerbaijan in the assembly of leadership experts considered preparation before attending the class, review of past lessons, consultation with fellow students and paying attention to the professor's explanations as effective factors in learning.
Pourmohammadi also emphasized the need for students to master Arabic literature, syntax, and language rules and said: accurate knowledge of words and language rules is important for the correct understanding of religious texts, and neglecting these basics can lead to wrong perceptions.
Stating that the purpose of education is not just reading books and accumulating information, he emphasized the necessity of deep understanding of the material and applying the learned in life.
Reason and knowledge along with divine guidance
Referring to the place of reason in human life, Imam Juma Marand considered it to be one of God's most important blessings and clarified: Reason plays a fundamental role in recognizing many good and bad things, including recognizing the ugliness of oppression, lying, and violating the rights of others. But not all facts can be understood only by relying on human reason.
Referring to religious teachings about God's knowledge, he emphasized the need to pay attention to the limits of human knowledge and considered it necessary to use reason along with faith and religious teachings.
Honesty and refinement of self in daily behavior
Emphasizing the need to take care of language and behavior, Pourmohammadi listed honesty as one of the important principles of life and asked the students not to make excuses to justify their mistakes or absences and to avoid saying untrue words.
He also emphasized the necessity of avoiding sin, taking care of oneself and paying attention to the life of the Prophet (PBUH), Hazrat Fatima Zahra (PBUH) and other imams of purity (PBUH) and called for a connection between scientific learning and practical behavior of students.
