Details of Araghchi's 150-minute meeting with lawmakers: Lawmakers asked about the 'New York talks,' and Araghchi spoke of meeting 42 foreign ministers worldwide

The chairman of the Tehran Province Council of Representatives reported that the council's meeting with the foreign minister reviewed diplomatic affairs, regional relations, negotiations, and economic diplomacy.

The head of the assembly of representatives of Tehran province announced the examination of diplomacy, regional relations, negotiations and economic diplomacy in the meeting of this assembly with the minister of foreign affairs.

According to the report of Ambassador Arjan Ali Yazdikhah, the head of the Assembly of Representatives of Tehran province, announced the holding of the 50th meeting of this assembly in the presence of Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and his deputies at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This meeting was held in the second session of the assembly with the presence of 22 representatives of Tehran province and lasted for 150 minutes.

According to Khane Mellat, Yazdikhah stated: In this meeting, Mr. Araghchi and the deputy ministers in economic, consular and parliamentary affairs expressed their views and points of view. Also, 22 representatives present in the meeting raised their views, opinions, doubts and questions related to the performance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

He added: Diplomacy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, how to use the capacity of resistance axis countries, how to interact with neighboring countries and commercial issues were among the axes of this meeting.

The Chairman of the Assembly of Representatives of Tehran Province continued: The issue of negotiations in New York, Iran's relationship with different governments in different regions of the world, and the meetings of the Minister of Foreign Affairs with his counterparts were also discussed in this meeting.

Referring to Araghchi's visits during his trip to New York, he said: Mr. Araghchi met with 42 foreign ministers during his short stay in New York. Also, ten meetings of the president with the presidents of different countries were held during this trip, during which the views of the Islamic Republic were explained to the officials of these countries.

Yazdikhah continued by referring to other topics of this meeting and stated: the general functioning of the government, the way ministries interact with foreign countries and especially the issue of economic diplomacy were among the other issues raised in this meeting.

He also said about the issues related to negotiations and commuting: the latest status of negotiations and issues related to traffic, previous laws and current requirements were also discussed in this meeting and the representatives and the Minister of Foreign Affairs discussed these issues.

The Chairman of the Assembly of Representatives of Tehran Province stated in the conclusion of this meeting: In total, 150 minutes of intimate conversation took place between the representatives of Tehran Province and the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
