Thief and Fence of Construction Equipment Arrested in Khorramabad

Khorramabad county police commander announces the arrest of a thief and fence of construction equipment and the seizure of significant amounts of stolen property in the county.

The police chief of Khorramabad city announced the arrest of a thief and shoplifter of workshop equipment and the discovery of significant amounts of stolen property in this city.

According to the report of Ambassador Arjan from Lorestan, Colonel Hadi Kianmehr said: Following the serial thefts of common buildings and workshop equipment in Khorramabad, the issue was specially placed on the agenda of police officers.

He added: The police officers of the 19th police station, by carrying out specialized measures and field investigations, succeeded in identifying the hiding place of the thief and the robber, who arrested both of them during an operation. Also, during the inspection of the place, significant amounts of stolen property, including pipes and polymer fittings, were discovered.

Colonel Kianmehr stated that the thief confessed to 5 cases of theft of common goods and workshop equipment in the face of strong evidence and documents from the police, and clarified that: the police deal decisively with thieves and agents of buying and selling stolen property and the accused were handed over to judicial authorities after filing a case for legal proceedings.
