Activism Among Student Teachers in Semnan Should Be Strengthened

According to Mehr reporter, Ghasem Sharifi Goroob, in the gathering of student teachers of Farhangian University of Semnan province, stressed the importance of freely expressing the views and concerns of students and stated: Farhangian University, in addition to scientific and specialized training, is a platform for the social and cultural growth of student teachers, and sufficient opportunities should be provided to express their views and demands.

Referring to the role of Farhangian University in training future teachers, he added: Education and Farhangian University move in a common direction and the graduates of this university should have the necessary knowledge, skills and professional competence when they enter the classroom.

The General Director of Education of Semnan province emphasized the necessity of student-teachers' participation in scientific, cultural and social activities and stated: knowing the social and cultural developments of the country, continuous study and awareness of the current issues of the society, is one of the requirements to play an effective role in the education system.

Sharifi also pointed to the demands raised about the facilities of Farhangian University and emphasized the need to provide suitable educational, cultural and sports spaces and continued: Student teachers should study in a suitable environment so that they can enter the teaching profession with more preparation.

Sharifi pointed out that expressing opinions and expressing concerns should not cause student teachers to worry about personal encounters or possible consequences, and no student teacher should feel regret for expressing his opinion in such meetings.
