This Italian car manufacturer says that Multipoly is designed to answer the question of how a car can meet the needs of today's families; The answer is presented in the form of a multi-purpose vehicle that can have different shapes and applications.

In family mode, the Multipli has the capacity to carry six passengers, with additional space for a flexible seat for pets.

The rear part of the car changes position electrically so that the Multipoly turns into a four-seater pickup. In this case, a suitable cargo space for carrying bicycles and various sports equipment is available to users.

One of the interesting design features of this car is its rear wing that rotates in family van mode and turns into a bike rack when the car is converted into a pickup truck.

Inspired by two historic Fiat Multipla models

The name Multipli is inspired by two old Fiat models. The first model was the Fiat 600 Multipla produced in 1956, which was only 3.5 meters long and could carry six passengers. The second model was the 1998 Multiply with its controversial design, which was less than four meters long and accommodated six seats in two rows of three.

The new Multipoly concept has larger dimensions with a length of 4.5 meters; But on the other hand, it offers more creative possibilities than both old models. Pet seats are not only designed for carrying dogs, but also have other uses. This part can be used as a place to install a child seat, a storage compartment or a small table. Also, for the comfort of pets, Fiat has hidden a special compartment inside one of the cushions and placed a water container inside the side door of the car.

Interior facilities and different design of the cabin

In the front, Fiat has considered a function called Sunseat, which turns the front passenger seat into a comfortable and stretched seat when the car is stopped. In this case, the dashboard takes over the role of support so that the passenger can rest for a while while charging the car.

Interior technologies are also designed to reduce the visual clutter of the cabin. The display of the entertainment and information system comes out of the dashboard when needed and hides inside it at other times. Fiat has also tried to integrate various functions in a harmonious way in the interior of the car as much as possible.

However, don't expect the multiplayer to hit the production line anytime soon. Fiat introduced this concept as a laboratory for the development of future transportation solutions and does not consider it a preview of a specific production model.

Considering the unveiling of the Citroën Elo concept at the beginning of the year, now it is enough for one of the brands of the Stlantis group to start working and bring an attractive family van to the production stage. It would also be interesting to see the revival of the controversial 1998 Multiplier in the era of electric cars.
