Cultivation of narcotic drugs is a threat to the society; the need to protect chastity and the foundation of the family
Khorramabad - Temporary imam of Khorramabad warned about the consequences of growing narcotic plants and the spread of social harms, and emphasized the necessity of protecting the foundation of the family and promoting a chaste life.
According to the reporter of Mehr, Hojjatul Islam Behrooz Shamsifar, today, Friday 24th of Mehr, during the sermons of Friday prayers in Khorramabad in Masla al-Ghadir, he explained the concept of profitable and unprofitable human business in the world, citing the verses of the Holy Quran, and considered the choice of the path of guidance or astray to be decisive in the final destiny of man.
unprofitable trade; Buying misguidance at the cost of losing direction
Referring to verse 16 of Surah Al-Baqarah, Shamsifar explained the concept of human choices in the path of life and stated: God says in the Holy Qur'an, "Those who seek guidance astray, so how did their business prosper and what did they do?" Muhtadeen" means they are those who bought error at the price of guidance; So their business was not profitable and they were not guided.
Stating that this verse presents a clear picture of a harmful transaction, he added: A person may spend the valuable capital of his life on a path that instead of happiness, faith and guidance, leads him to sin, sin and distance from the truth. Such a choice is, in fact, the loss of precious capital against something that has no real benefit and durability.
The temporary imam of Khorramabad continued by referring to verse 18 of Surah Al-Baqarah, the Quranic phrase "Sumٌّ بٌكْمٌ عُمْيٌ فهُمْ لَيْرْجُونَ" and emphasized the importance of listening to the truth, telling the truth and seeing the path of guidance.
Quran, prayer and charity; Signs of profitable business
In another part of his speech, Shamsifar pointed to verse 29 of Surah Fatir and said that God says about those who adhere to the Book of God, perform prayer and spend from what they have been provided for, secretly and openly, "Those who read the Book of God and stand up for prayer." And they spend what we have provided them secretly and openly, they want to trade so that they don't get lost." According to this verse, those who recite the book of God, perform prayer and spend from the hidden and open divine sustenance, hope for a business that will never be stagnant or destroyed.
Referring to the message of this verse, he clarified: A believer, with faith, worship and fulfilling religious and social responsibilities, invests his life in a path whose result is not only limited to the fleeting achievements of this world, but also includes happiness and reward in the hereafter.
The interim imam of Khorramabad emphasized: the fundamental difference between these two businesses is that one person spends his life in the path of guidance and goodness and is in pursuit of lasting happiness, but the other may lose the opportunity of life and face loss and misery for himself.
Narration of Amirul Momineen (AS) about two groups of people in the world
Shamsifar further cited a saying of Amir al-Mu'minin Ali (a.s.) in Nahj al-Balagha, which in Hikmat 269 divides people into two groups based on their outlook and performance in the world. In this wisdom, it is stated that "people in this world are agents: a person who acts in this world for this world, he is busy with this world from the hereafter, he is angry with me." Yachlufuhu al-faqr, and wayamanuhu ali nafseh, so the art of umrah is for the benefit of others. And the cause of action in this world, why then..."
He stated: The theme of this speech is that there are two groups of people in the world; A group works for the world and gets so involved in it that they forget the hereafter. They are afraid of the poverty of their survivors, but they feel relieved about their situation and as a result, they spend their lives for the benefit of others.
Explaining this part of the narrative, he warned against neglecting his spiritual destiny and said: sometimes a person spends all his efforts and opportunities in his life to collect wealth and provide for the future of the survivors, but he neglects to perform his religious duties and pay attention to his destiny. In such a situation, we should ask ourselves whether our efforts are only for worldly affairs or do we also provide baggage for life after death?
Human life should not be spent for the benefit of others and neglecting the hereafter
The temporary imam of Khorramabad continued, referring to another part of the wisdom of Nahj al-Balagha 269, and addressed the second group of people; Those who strive for the afterlife in this world and besides benefiting from worldly blessings, they also consider their hereafter.
He said: In the continuation of this wisdom, it is stated that "The one who is from this world without action, then he remembers the time together, and the king of the two lives together, then it is morning." Indeed, with God, there is no need to ask God to prevent it. The meaning of this section is that the worldly share of such a person also reaches him and he gains both the benefits of this world and the hereafter; He becomes dignified in the presence of God and does not ask for anything from God unless it is considered within the framework of God's wisdom and will.
Emphasizing the necessity of simultaneously paying attention to worldly and hereafter responsibilities, Shamsifar noted: Religious teachings do not invite man to leave life and worldly responsibilities, but rather warn that the world should not become the ultimate goal of life and prevent man from remembering God, fulfilling his duties, and preparing for the hereafter.
Reminding of the Day of Resurrection and the responsibility of man for his actions
He also pointed to verses 34 to 37 of Surah Abs and reminded that the Holy Quran presents an image of the Day of Judgment in which a person is separated from his closest people and everyone is so involved in his own situation that he does not have the opportunity to address others.
Referring to the message of these verses, the temporary imam of Khorramabad emphasized the need for people to pay attention to their individual responsibility for their actions and choices and said: every person should not neglect his spiritual destiny in addition to trying to provide for the needs of his family and fulfill his social responsibilities; Because in the end, everyone will face the consequences of their actions.
Emphasizing the necessity of reviewing the way of life, Shamsifar asked the worshipers to be careful in what direction they spend their life and abilities and what kind of business they choose for their life. A business that can lead to lasting guidance and happiness or, as a result of neglect, lead to the loss of life's valuable capital.
Hazrat Zainab (pbuh); A model of patience and protection of the truth of Islam
The temporary imam of Khorramabad, in the continuation of the sermons of the Friday prayer, referred to the upcoming occasions, and congratulated Hazrat Zainab Kabri (pbuh) on her birthday and Nurse's Day, and emphasized the prominent position of this great lady in the history of Islam and the role of nurses in maintaining the health of the society.
Referring to the greatness of Hazrat Zainab's personality, Shamsifar said: The position of this great lady is such that after the Ashura incident, the heavy responsibility of guarding the message of Imam Hussain's movement and conveying the truth of Karbala to the society was placed on her shoulders.
Referring to the condition of Imam Sajjad (a.s.) in the Ashura event, he added: His illness, according to God's providence, prevented his presence in the battlefield, and the continuation of the Imamate after the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (a.s.) was realized in this way. In this situation, Hazrat Zainab (pbuh) assumed a great responsibility in accompanying Imam Sajjad (pbuh), taking care of the survivors of the Karbala incident and explaining the truth of the uprising.
Emphasizing the role of Hazrat Zainab (pbuh) in conveying the message of Ashura, the temporary imam of Khorramabad stated: If today the truth of Karbala and the goals of the uprising of Imam Hussain (pbuh) remain alive in the historical memory of Muslims, an important part of this permanence is due to the standing, enlightenment and sermons of Hazrat Zainab (pbuh) in Kufa and Sham.
He continued: Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) defended the truth bravely and enlightenedly in a difficult situation and against the apparatus that tried to impose its version of the Ashura event on the society and did not allow the message of the blood of the martyrs of Karbala to be lost in the noise of the enemies' propaganda.
Congratulations on Nurse's Day and celebrating the efforts of the medical staff
In another part of his speech, by congratulating nurses and health workers on Nurse's Day, Shamsifar valued the efforts of this group in caring for patients and providing services to the people and stated: nurses and medical staff stood by the patients with responsibility and dedication in difficult situations, including during the Corona epidemic and critical situations.
Referring to the life of Hazrat Zainab (PBUH), he added: the spirit of patience, responsibility, attention to the suffering of others and standing in difficult situations are among the characteristics that are manifested in the efforts of nurses and health workers.
Khorram Abad interim imam also remembered the martyrs of the medical and nursing community by recalling the sacrifices of a number of health workers in the way of serving the people and emphasized the necessity of appreciating the services of this group.
Emphasizing solidarity with the Palestinian people
Referring to the commemoration day for the victims of the genocide of Palestinian women and children, Shamsifar condemned the crimes of the Zionist regime against the people of this land and said: the existence of this vile regime and this cancerous tumor is based on terror, crime and murder, and God willing, soon with the presence and appearance of Imam Zaman, we will witness the eradication of this cancerous tumor.
Stating that the Palestinian people have been facing violence and the consequences of war for many years, he expressed hope that with the fulfillment of the divine promise and the appearance of Hazrat Wali Asr (A.S.), the ground for establishing justice and ending oppression will be provided.
Warning about the consequences of cultivating narcotic plants
In another part of his speech, the interim imam of Khorramabad, referring to the previous warnings of the representative of the religious jurist in the province about the cultivation of prohibited plants used in the production of drugs, stated: This issue is harmful to the society from various religious, economic, social and security aspects, and it should not be looked at only from the angle of making money.
Emphasizing the need for farmers to pay attention to the type of crops they grow, Shamsifar added: Agricultural lands are a valuable capacity to meet the needs of the country, and it is better to use this capacity in the production of essential products needed by the society, including wheat and other strategic products.
He continued: The selection of the product should be done considering the public interests and the needs of the country; Because the expansion of the cultivation of crops related to the production of narcotics can bring widespread economic and social damages in addition to religious consequences.
addiction; A threat to the youth and the foundation of the family
Warning about the social consequences of drugs, Shamsifar considered addiction as a harmful factor for the health of young people and the strength of families and stated: the spread of addiction can reduce the ability of young people to play a constructive role in society and face families with serious problems and injuries.
