Bayani: With Two Players Like Asani, Esteghlal Will Become Asian Champions

A former Esteghlal player says Asani has no problem securing a place in Esteghlal's lineup, and rivals should not pursue complaints about this high-quality player.

According to "Varzesh Seh", Shahrukh Bayani, in an interview with Seh Live, considered Yaser Asani one of the most high-quality foreign players in Iranian football and stressed that Esteghlal should sign a long-term contract to keep him. He also talked about the complaints of various clubs about the easy attendance conditions and the demand for the Esteghlal Cup last season.

The former player of Esteghlal believes that the technical quality and personality of Asahi are at a high level, and the presence of players like him can lead Esteghlal to great success in Asia. Bayani also emphasized that last season's championship trophy should be awarded to Esteghlal.

Bayani said about the complaint of different clubs, especially Persepolis, about Yasser Asani's presence: "Yasser is a very good player. All teams know that he is a very good player both in terms of football and personality. "I am saddened to see our rival club pursue such an issue."

He continued: "100% Yasser has no problem. If he had a problem, Esteghlal Club would not use him. It's not nice for the rival club to talk like that or to tell foreign teams that he shouldn't play. Esteghlal matches in Asia are club and national matches and such behavior is not right.

Bayani said about the possibility of revenge for the past behavior of Esteghlal fans towards Issa Al-Katheer: "It was not that time, everyone was against it." Jesus' coming to independence was also the result of mismanagement. When they signed a contract with Al Kathir, neither the fans, nor the veterans, nor Esteghlal Club wanted such a transfer. Even the fans came in front of the club and showed their displeasure. "In the end, the club paid for the termination of the contract."

Bayani said about an easy future in Esteghlal: "I have always said that if the club hires a foreign player, it should be a head and neck higher than our players. Asani has helped independence since the day it came. "He is a passionate player, with character and world-class football."

He emphasized: "I said last night that they should easily sign a long-term contract so that the day he retires, he will remain independent." He also likes to play football in Iran. When a player is playing good football and is interested in staying, what else do we look for? "If Esteghlal can recruit two or three players like Asani, I am 100% sure that they will become the champion of Asia."

The former Esteghlal player said in another part of his talk about the last season's cup: "One hundred percent of the cup should be given to Esteghlal. This issue should have been determined very quickly and the trophy should have been awarded. Esteghlal had defeated its direct competitors. When you beat the opposing team, it's not just three points, it's six points. Esteghlal won Persepolis, Sepahan and Traktor and if the matches continued, I think they would be 100% champions. In my opinion, they should give the cup to Esteghlal and declare this team the champion of the Premier League last season."
