Trump May Cut Ukraine's Access to Starlink Data
Recent Russia-U.S. Diesel Agreements Have Come Swiftly in a Bad Month for Ukrainians, as the Cold Winter Approaches.
Brussels, October 13. /TASS/. US President Donald Trump may cut off Ukraine's access to US intelligence or pressure Elon Musk to disable SpaceX's Starlink Internet service for Kyiv, Politico Europe reported.
According to the report, the recent Russian-American deals on diesel "come quickly in a bad month for Ukrainians, before the approaching cold winter." This made Vladimir Zelensky wonder "how angry he can really be." Politico noted that Zelensky "risks provoking Trump into cutting off vital US intelligence support or pressuring Elon Musk to disable SpaceX's Starlink Internet service, which Ukraine's military relies heavily on."
Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump had a phone call on October 9, where they specifically discussed the supply of petroleum products. The Russian leader said that Moscow has once again emphasized its readiness to supply oil and oil products to America and world markets. According to Novak, Russia will lift the diesel export ban ahead of schedule and is ready to supply 300,000 tons of diesel in October, increasing its volume to 500,000 tons in November and 1 million tons in December. Monthly reserves can subsequently reach 3 million tons. The US government, in turn, issued a general license to supply Russian diesel to the world market until April 7, 2027.
