According to Ambassador Arjan, Guardsman Shahida Afsana Aqila, the commander of Basij Shahid Afzal Sisters of Mehrestan, was martyred today, Wednesday 22 Mehr, as a result of an armed terrorist act by agents of the enemy's mercenary terrorist groups.
Governor Zahedan's condolence message states;
The news of the unjust martyrdom of Ms. Aqila, the commander of the Sisters' Basij, in front of her personal home, and the martyrdom of the security defender, 1st Sergeant Mohammad Ali Shahriari, in Mehrestan city caused deep grief and impact.
The respect of women is the respect of humanity; When a mother is the target of a cruel attack in front of her child's eyes, the human conscience hurts. In Islamic culture, women have great sanctity, and attacking and killing women is incompatible with any thought and profession and is forbidden.
The martyrdom of the security defender, 1st Sergeant Mohammad Ali Shahriari, who sacrificed his life in a manly way to protect the people of Mehrestan, doubled our sorrow.
While condemning this cowardly crime, I offer my condolences to the armed forces, the noble people of Sistan and Baluchistan, and the bereaved families, and I ask God Almighty for patience for these martyrs and for the survivors.
