The Pennsylvania Democratic Socialist says he opposes jailing anyone but "lawless MAGA thugs."

Chris Robb, a member of the Democratic Socialists of America and a candidate for Pennsylvania, said he wants to lock up "lawless MAGA thugs" despite his opposition to prisons.

Chris Rabb, a Pennsylvania Democratic candidate for the US House of Representatives, told Wajat Ali that despite his opposition to imprisonment, he would be in favor of jailing MAGA members.

Pennsylvania congressional candidate and state representative Chris Robb said this week that while he opposes incarceration, he favors locking up "lawless MAGA thugs."

"I am an undivorced person," Reb said on Vajahat Ali's Left Podcast. "I believe a country that represents 5% of the world's population, but 25% of the people put in cages, is morally wrong. It's also bad policy, but I make an exception for all those lawless MAGA thugs who have destroyed lives and communities, locked them all up. f---s up."

Robb, who was among several members of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) who won the Democratic primary this year, called on members of Congress to impeach and subpoena people "who are destroying what's left of our fragile democracy."

Socialists staged scenes on the government's ground floor as the government warned of a bigger plan.

He also acknowledged the irony of socialist support for imprisonment but doubled down on the idea.

"I hope you'll all forgive me for my weakness," said Rob. "It's not revenge, but right is right." We need to have a level playing field. If there are mothers who go to jail for changing schools so their kids can get a better education, and they end up in jail, you better believe Jared Kushner is going to have to do some jail time. So if that makes me conservative, oh my god, but we have to send a message."

Robb's comments echoed those of Florida Democratic Senate candidate Angie Nixon, who insisted she was not a socialist despite being a DSA member.

In an interview with CNN, Nixon told host Casey Hunt that he would like his opponent, Sen. Ashley Moody, R-Fla. See him locked up.

"They're spreading a lot of misinformation and lies about me in commercials, saying I'm going to abolish prisons and I'm going to defund the police," Nixon said. "Why would I want to do that when I want him imprisoned and punished in prison for what he's done?"

When asked by Hunt to clarify whether he wanted to see Moody incarcerated, Nixon replied, “Basically, yes. Because of what he did, yes. I would absolutely love for that to happen. Yes."
