Behind Netanyahu's Intelligence Claim Against Britain / Tehran Warns London's Officials

Britain's reliance on Tel Aviv's claims about a recent security incident has triggered a new wave of verbal clashes between officials of the two countries.

Ambassador Arjan: The British government's reliance on Tel Aviv's claims regarding the recent security incident created a new wave of verbal confrontations between the officials of the two countries.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that Tel Aviv had provided information to the authorities of this country before the incident near Fairford Air Base in England, which indicated that an attack was on the way and that this action was supported by Iran.

British Prime Minister Andy Burnham claimed on Wednesday that Iran was involved in the Farford incident, but at the same time emphasized that the police investigation into the incident is still ongoing.

Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of our country, responded to these accusations by the British Prime Minister and said: Burnham's government "can confirm that it believes that Iran was involved in the accident at the Royal Air Force's Fairford air base."

He added: The fact that you released the people who, according to you, were terrorists and in the service of foreign governments, says everything.

Araghchi noted: You are looking for the culprit in the wrong place.
