11 Faculty Members of Chamran University of Ahvaz Among the World's Top 2% Researchers

Ahvaz – The Deputy for Research and Technology at Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz announced that 11 faculty members of the university are among the world's top 2% researchers.

Ahvaz - Vice President of Research and Technology of Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz announced the presence of 11 faculty members of the university among the world's top two percent researchers.

According to Mehr reporter, Mena Ghalabi said in a media interview today: The list of top two percent researchers in the world, which was compiled by the Stanford University research team headed by Professor John P. E. Ioannidis, in collaboration with Elsevier and based on Scopus citation database data, introduces researchers who are among the top two percent of the world in terms of citation indices.

He added: This list is presented in two forms; First, the single-year impact index in this form evaluates the researcher's research performance in only one specific year (2025 in this list). This index shows the current scientific activity, dynamism and up-to-dateness of the researcher.

Referring to the second index, the Vice President of Research and Technology of Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz explained: Career-Long Impact index in this form, the research performance of the researcher during the period of scientific activity (in this list, the period from 1995 to 2025) is measured. This index shows the continuity, depth and durability of scientific influence in the long term.

Garabi reminded: It is remarkable and a matter of double pride that many of these researchers were in last year's list as well. This continuous presence shows the continuity in the production of science, the permanence of scientific influence and the stabilization of their research position at the global level. Undoubtedly, this continued success is the result of tireless efforts, scientific commitment and exemplary perseverance of these researchers over many years.

According to Gulabi, Hamid Mohammad Siddiqui, Gholamreza Akbarizadeh, Ehsan Shakerzadeh, Seyed Mohammad Safiuddin Ardabili, Abbas Parsaei, Nahid Pourreza, Mehdi Yeganeh, Mohammad Behbahani, Ahmad Hajjatzadeh Parandjani, Mohammad Amin Kouti and Mohammad Soroush are the researchers of two one-year observations. Also, Hamid Mohammad Sadighi, Nahid Pourreza, Gholamreza Akbari Zatdeh, Abbas Parsaei and Seyed Mohammad Safiuddin Ardabili are in the list of researchers with 2% length of service.
