In the trial version of Mac, Telegram has introduced Telegram Explorer, which allows users to discover channel posts based on their interests; An experience similar to Instagram Explorer.

This action shows Telegram's effort to expand its capabilities beyond a traditional messenger. This change is aimed at increasing user interaction and intensifying competition in the messaging market.

Telegram's new feature "for you" and its functionality

In the beta version of Telegram Mac (October 23, 1405), the "For You" section was introduced. This feature displays suggested posts and followed channels based on users' interests. Selection of topics, phased loading of posts and synchronization of reading status are among its features.

Challenges of publishing Explorer in a messenger

Activation of Telegram Explorer still depends on the servers. Users cannot activate it manually; It requires the internal option and sending content from the server. Not being included in the public API makes the release time uncertain.
