According to Ambassador Arjan, quoted by Reuters, this American actor, who is best known for playing the role of Michael Corleone in the "Godfather" film series, is the 62nd recipient of the Actors Guild Lifetime Achievement Award. The association will present him with the award at the 33rd Annual Actors Awards on February 28, 2027 in Los Angeles. This ceremony will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Acknowledgment of Pacino is the result of his more than six decades of work in cinema, television and theater. In a statement released by the Screen Actors Guild, Pacino said, "I've spent much of my life searching and wandering, but I've always felt at home with a script and my fellow actors."
He added: "The work and the actors I have been with along this path have been one of the greatest joys of my life. It is an honor that the Dog Defamation Association appreciates me in commemorating this path."
