Pre-order any copy of Metro 2039 and you'll get the specialty pack. It contains in-game maps for the following backpack upgrades:

Specialized Equipment Bag - For gunsmiths who want to focus on crafting advanced weapons and equipment faster.

Chemtech Specialty Bag - For explorers who want to brave radioactive areas with more gas mask filters and cleaner, safer equipment.

Specialty Ammo Bag - For shooters looking to find and use rarer and more powerful types of ammunition in their firearms.

As the title suggests, Metro 2039 takes place in 2039. In the Metro timeline, it takes place after Metro 2033 (which was released in 2010), Metro: Last Light (2013), and Metro Exodus (2019). The nuclear apocalypse has been underway for a quarter of a century. Most of the survivors in Moscow lived in the subway tunnels under the city, and after years of fighting, they united under the watchful eye of a "zealous Spartan" named Hunter. Hunter is a tyrannical leader who rules by "propaganda and fear".

You play as a stranger, a hermit who lives outside the city. As luck would have it, the game starts right when you have to go on a dangerous mission into the subway tunnels. Fighting irradiated monsters, gun battles with rival survivors, and a healthy dose of stealth. Check out our hands-on preview for more information.
