The secretary of the one-day-old chicken producer association said: With planning and targeted monthly export of 5 million day-old chickens and 10 million fertilized eggs, domestic market stability can be ensured.

According to Ambassador Arjan, Mohammad Reza Sediqpour, the secretary of the day-old chicken producers' association, said: the increase in production costs due to the exchange rate fluctuation, the increase in the price of inputs and the decrease in people's purchasing power have caused losses to the producers. In this regard, by holding numerous meetings with the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad, the hatching rate decreased.

According to him, the hatching rate has decreased from 130 to 140 million pieces to 110 to 115 million pieces and we hope to see a market balance for producers and consumers in the near future.

Saying that preventing the loss of producers is the main factor for the stability of production and price in the market, Sediqpour added: According to the per capita consumption, the country's real need for monthly hatching is 110 to 115 million pieces. On the other hand, continuity and sustainability of production requires receiving the full price of the products.

He announced the current price of one day-old chicken at 80 to 90 thousand tomans and added: During the past four months, with the decrease in the price of chicken, the motivation to buy day-old chickens has also decreased. So that the average selling price of each piece of one-day-old chicken reached 20 thousand Tomans, equivalent to 20% of the finished price. We hope that by changing the production pattern, we will achieve favorable conditions so that through the stability of production, the required chicken will be provided in the coming months.

Sediqpour said that the purchase of support helps to attract chickens and reduce the losses of chicken farmers, and said: "Chicken export is ongoing and there is no ban." With proper management, you can have sustainable exports; So that by planning and exporting 5 million day-old chickens and 10 million fertilized eggs per month, it is possible to ensure the stability of the domestic market.
