Mashhad- Head of Mashhad Nursing and Midwifery School, referring to the study of 1,300 students in this school, said: Nursing is a completely scientific, academic and demanding field.

Fatemeh Hajiabadi said in a conversation with Mehr reporter: The Nursing and Midwifery Faculty of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences has about 1,300 students, and as one of the top faculties in the country, it ranks third to fifth in the country.

The head of the Mashhad Nursing and Midwifery School said: People should know that nursing is a completely scientific, academic, and demanding field, and its students pass both theoretical courses and clinical work with great effort and skill.

He said about the most difficult and sweetest memories of his working life: the most difficult moments for us are when we are at the patient's bedside, despite all the desire of our hearts, we cannot do anything and watch the patients suffer; This does not mean that the situation becomes normal, but the nurse puts aside her emotions to manage the patient's condition based on science. On the other hand, my most beautiful memory is related to the successful resuscitation of a young mother in the ICU department who, after a cardiac arrest, returned to the family center with the efforts and persistence of the treatment team and was discharged on her own a week later.

In advising students and volunteers to enter this profession, Haji Abadi stressed: I advise newcomers to this field not to be influenced by the words and hadiths of others and to choose this excellent field for their future career, education and life with an open mind and compassion. Nursing has high capacities such as continuing education up to the doctoral level, the presence of top international researchers among the professors and medical staff, and the possibility of working in various fields such as home care clinics.

The head of Mashhad Nursing and Midwifery School also said about the livelihood concerns and demands of nurses: Nurses can have better sources of income by planning, improving specialized skills and using psychological techniques to prevent job burnout, and the system should do its best to maintain these talented forces.
