First Comprehensive Urban Tourism and Recreation Structure in Tehran Officially Approved, Director Appointed

The first official comprehensive urban structure in the field of tourism and recreation was announced in Tehran and its director was appointed.

According to Ambassador Arjan, after nearly 5 years, after the pursuit of Tehran Municipality and City Council, "Tehran Milad Tourism and Entertainment Company" was established and Abbas Heydari, who was previously the CEO of Milad Tower Company, was appointed as the CEO of this new company by the mayor of Tehran.

The establishment of this company is a transformative action in the field of tourism, recreation and leisure of citizens, which is expected to be the foundation for the transition from "imitation tourism to creative tourism", "from attraction-oriented to experience-oriented" and "from island management to integrated governance of tourism and leisure" by overcoming traditional and fragmented approaches.
