Government Spokesman: There is a possibility that the internet will be cut off when the war starts
Fatemeh Mohajerani said: Due to the importance of the country's databases and internet-based services, the responsible agencies may sometimes be forced to reduce the internet speed.
Fatemeh Mohajerani answered the journalists' questions at a press conference today (Tuesday, October 21).
According to Ambassador Arjan's report, in response to another question about the internet situation in the country, referring to the continuation of war conditions, the government spokesperson said: Currently, only the firing has stopped in some areas and no part of the war has stopped completely. The enemy's comments and actions show that its target is the people of Iran and their lives.
Referring to the possibility of imposing restrictions on the internet, he said: due to the importance of the country's databases and internet-based services, the authorities may sometimes be forced to reduce the internet speed. We do not follow this issue as a principle of work, but we declare that such measures are taken in line with the protection of the country's assets.
The spokesperson of the government expressed the hope that the country will reach the conditions of stable peace so that the life experience of the people is completely aligned with the measures taken to defend them.
