Russia's Non-Oil and Gas Budget Revenue to Exceed 1 Trillion Rubles in 2026 Surplus (11.92 Billion Dollars)
Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said federal budget revenues from the energy and non-energy sectors are running ahead of the 2026 target.
Moscow, October 13. /TASS/. Russia's federal budget revenues from both the energy and non-energy sectors are tracking ahead of the 2026 target, with non-oil and gas revenues expected to reach around 1 trillion rubles ($11.92 billion), Russian Finance Minister Anton Silvanov said on Tuesday.
"As for 2026, we see that the projected targets for non-oil and gas revenues and oil and gas in general are doing better," Silvanov said at the State Duma plenary session.
The minister attributed the 1 trillion ruble ($11.92 billion) increase in revenue primarily to strong domestic economic growth. Non-oil and gas budget revenues rose 18.8 percent year-on-year to 24.2 trillion rubles ($288.37 billion) in the January-September 2026 period, according to the ministry's data.
