A ceremony honoring Ali Khajenejadian and the introduction of Mansour Amini as the new Director General of the Intellectual Development Center for Children and Adolescents of Fars Province was accompanied by a set of demands for the future of this cultural institution, including ensuring children with diverse tastes can access the Center's services, expanding rural mobile centers, strengthening scientific activities, and giving greater attention to educational infrastructure.
According to Ambassador Arjan, the officials present at this ceremony, while appreciating the performance of the previous period, emphasized the necessity of change according to the needs of children and teenagers today. In the meantime, developing access to center services in deprived areas, using the capacity of donors and increasing cooperation between educational and cultural institutions were among the axes proposed for the new period of management of this complex.
The three-year record of the Fars Center from the point of view of the former director general
Ali Khajanejadian, the former Director General of the Center for Intellectual Development of Children and Adolescents in Fars province, considered the empathy and companionship of the staff and trainers to be the main reason for the success of this group in the past three years and stated: The improvement of indicators and the introduction of the Fars Center as one of the best groups in the country was the result of the efforts of a sympathetic team.
Referring to the results of the national evaluations of the Program and Budget Organization, he said that the Fars center was ranked third among the centers across the country. Khajenejadian also appreciated the role of the staff of the centers, the management group and the Iranian language center in realizing these achievements.
Referring to the transfer of responsibilities among directors over the past years, the former Director General of Fars Center described the management of the center as a continuous path that each manager takes a part of. While announcing his readiness to cooperate and provide advice to the new director, he asked the employees to put aside differences of opinion and differences in tastes to better serve children and teenagers.
The center should not be limited to a specific group of families
Mohammad Hassan Mousavi, Director General of Social and Cultural Affairs of Fars Governorate, said that one of the most important expectations from the new management of the center is to expand the scope of the audience and make it possible for all children to benefit from the services of this complex.
Referring to the country's social conditions, he said: cultural and educational institutions play an important role in strengthening beliefs, intellectual growth and increasing the awareness of the future generation, and their position should be paid more attention to.
Emphasizing that the center should be receptive to different views and tastes, Mousavi said: "There should be no impression that the center belongs only to families whose views are closer to the existing structure." A space should be provided so that all children, regardless of their families' views, can use the center's facilities and programs.
He asked Mansour Amini, the new Director General of Fars Center, to prioritize this issue in his plans and announced that the governorate will also cooperate in this direction.
Educational justice is not complete without regard to education
In another part of his speech, the director general of social and cultural affairs of Fars governorate emphasized the necessity of using the capacity of the national movement of educational justice to develop the center's infrastructure.
Pointing to the attention to school building and equipping schools, Mousavi said: In addition to the development of educational spaces, plans should also be made to strengthen cultural and artistic centers, provide the necessary equipment, and create new center centers.
According to him, some centers are facing a lack of equipment and facilities, and in some areas there is basically no center to provide these services. Using the capacity of national programs and the cooperation of responsible institutions can help reduce these deficiencies.
Mousavi stated that the education sector in the country's education system has not been given the attention it deserves in the past years, and demanded the strengthening of this sector along with the development of educational infrastructure.
Program for the development of scientific activities and rural mobile centers
Mohammadreza Karimi Sarmi, the vice president of the Center for the Intellectual Development of Children and Adolescents, also pointed to the expansion of the activities of this group and emphasized the need to change the approach and increase the scope of its services.
He said: Today, the center has more than 80 activities in different fields and its mission can no longer be limited to reading books, literature and art. According to him, basic science activities have started seriously in 10 disciplines and the plan is to increase this number to 15 disciplines.
Karimi Sarmi expressed his hope that the development of these activities will help to raise a new generation of scientists and specialists in the country and added: As many writers and artists remember their experience of being in the center, in the future, outstanding scientists will be trained from this group.
Referring to the status of the Iranian language center, the vice president of the center's production also considered Fars province's performance in attracting audiences and discipline to be significant and emphasized the need to maintain and strengthen this capacity.
At the same time, he called the geographical extent of Fars province one of the obstacles to the development of fixed centers and said: Considering the size of the province and the great distance between the regions, the expansion of fixed centers has its own difficulties and the capacity of donors and mobile centers should be used to increase children's access to cultural services.
Karimi Sarmi listed the strengthening of more than 100 rural mobile units as one of the center's plans this year and considered the development of reading culture as one of the important needs of the society. He also expressed the hope that Fars, which has a significant capacity in the field of language center, will become a model for other provinces of the country in the field of literature.
The link between education and the center should be strengthened
Mohsen Kalari, Director General of Education of Fars Province, also described the center as an effective group in the intellectual and educational development of children and teenagers and emphasized the need to expand cooperation between this institution and education.
Referring to his childhood memories of activities such as play dough and crafts in the center, he said: One of the main goals of this collection is for children to go from questioning to thinking, talking, discovering and experiencing.
Emphasizing the necessity of paying attention to Iranian-Islamic identity in the center's activities, Clary called for the implementation of programs suited to the needs of children and teenagers today. He also emphasized on the facilities and working conditions of the center's employees and expressed hope that a new season of creative activities for the children of the province will begin with the cooperation of educational and cultural groups.
Mansour Amini, the new Director General of the Center for Intellectual Development of Children and Adolescents of Fars province, in this ceremony, referring to his 21 years of experience in the center, considered this complex to be more than an administrative structure and described it as a house of hope, creativity and thought and a place to nurture the future generation.
Referring to the experience of working in coaching classes and direct communication with children and teenagers, he said: During his years of activity, he has learned that no path in a cultural organization is the result of one person's efforts, and the achievements of each group are the result of the experience and companionship of people who have worked together at different times.
Appreciating the trust of the CEO of the country's center for entrusting him with this responsibility, Amini said: he considers this trust a valuable investment and at the same time a heavy responsibility, and he hopes that by relying on God, using the experience of his colleagues and utilizing the available capacities, he can give a worthy response to this trust.
The new Director General of Fars Center also appreciated the efforts of the previous directors, including Ali Khajanejadian, and considered it necessary to preserve the efforts of the past while trying to take effective steps in the future.
new management test; From educational justice to service development
The sum of the points of view raised in this ceremony puts a set of expectations in front of the new management of the Center for Intellectual Development of Fars Children and Adolescents. On the one hand, it is important to preserve the achievements of the past period and strengthen capacities such as the language center and literary activities, and on the other hand, the development of services in underserved areas, the modernization of equipment, the expansion of mobile centers, and the provision of the possibility of children with different tastes to use the center's programs have been raised.
Now, the realization of these goals depends on the cooperation of the responsible institutions, the provision of facilities and the ability of the new management to transform these demands into practical plans; A path whose result should be seen in more access of Fars children and teenagers to cultural, artistic and scientific opportunities.
