EXCLUSIVE: British crime series World's Worst Prisoners is becoming a Radial Entertainment original.

The 10-episode fourth season of the series is being distributed exclusively on Radial in the US, Canada, Germany, Austria and Switzerland by UK producer Woodcut Media, and sold elsewhere by Woodcut International, debuting this week at MIPCOM in Cannes. Production began in September ahead of a planned 2027 premiere.

World's Most Evil Prisoners is part of the World's Most Evil franchise currently running on Radial. Seasons 1-3 of the show are currently on free-to-air streaming services, Radial. "Each series in the World's Worst franchise offers a different perspective on criminal behavior," said Christina Gugino, VP of Originals and Content Partnerships at Radial. Prisoners explores how criminals manipulate and harm people behind bars, where incarceration changes their ways, and who is vulnerable. Season 4 digs deeper into these dynamics, building on what makes the show such a compelling part of the franchise. Watch on Deadline

The World's Worst Prisoners takes a look at criminals serving life sentences, who torture, kidnap and even murder inside. Through the accounts of victims, friends and family, journalists and the police, this series examines dangerous prisoners.

"Each episode of this compelling series delves deeper into the psychology of these harrowing crimes, revealing never-before-seen cases while showing empathy for the families of the victims," said Kola Anastasia, CEO of Woodcut International. We are excited to announce Season 4 in collaboration with Radial and look forward to presenting it to buyers during MIPCOM.

The deal was negotiated by Kathy Carroll, principal and business development director for Radial Entertainment, and Kola Anastasia, for Woodcut International.

Backed by funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management, Radial has a library of more than 75,000 movies and episodes in genres such as true crime, reality, animation, action and westerns. Yesterday, we reported that Radial was reviving the horror and suspense brand A Haunting for a new 16-episode series.

Meanwhile, Kate Beale's woodblock makes shows such as Confessions of a Female Serial Killer, The Meredith Murders, World's Worst Killers and Britain's Worst Killers and Disasters: Back to the Wild.
