Bushehr Housing Movement Water Supply Project Reaches 68% Progress

Bushehr – The managing director of the Bushehr Province Water and Wastewater Company said the water supply project for the province's National Housing Movement sites has reached 68% physical progress, with 57 kilometers of water distribution network completed.

Bushehr - Director of Water and Sewerage of Bushehr province said: The water supply project to the National Housing Movement sites in the province has reached 68% physical progress with the implementation of 57 km of water supply network.

According to Mehr reporter, Ali Bardestani told reporters on Tuesday morning: This plan is being implemented with the aim of providing the infrastructure needed for water supply to the National Housing Movement sites in Bushehr province, and a significant part of its executive operations has been completed.

He added: As part of this project, 57 kilometers of water supply network will be implemented using polyethylene and ductile iron pipes with diameters of 90 to 400 mm.

Bardestani stated: The implementation of this network plays an important role in providing the water needed by the residential units built in the framework of the National Housing Movement Plan, and with the completion of the operation, the water supply infrastructure of these sites will be strengthened.

He continued: The implementation of the project is being followed with the aim of preparing service infrastructures and providing sustainable water for the residents of the National Housing Movement units, and the process of project implementation will continue until reaching the operational stage.

The CEO of Bushehr Province Water and Sewerage Company noted: Completing water supply networks in housing sites, along with the development of other required infrastructures, is one of the requirements for preparing these areas for citizens to live, and the Provincial Water and Sewerage Company has prioritized the implementation of this plan.

He emphasized: It is one of the priorities of this company with planning to build 30 kilometers of network and transmission line in the second 6 months of this year.
