Mohammad Oshiri was eliminated from the World Under-23 Freestyle Wrestling Championships after falling ill with a strange disease.

According to "Varzesh Seh", the Iranian national wrestling team won the championship in the World Hopes Tournament in a situation where one of the eliminated Iranian wrestlers in this event was among the definite chances of winning the gold medal.

Mohammad Ashiri in the weight of 60 kg, who had defeated the Kazakh champion of this weight in a tournament, faced a strange illness a few days before he was sent to Las Vegas, America.

This light-weight Frenchman was diagnosed with a severe skin disease that not only took away his ability to train, but also his daily activities.

Andimeshki wrestler Mohammad Ashiri lost to Skripychak 8-6 in the first round, who was ahead of this Polish opponent 6-1. In the following, Skripichak's defeat led to Ashiri's early elimination from the tournament.

Regarding what happened to him, this young Frenchman told "Varzesh Se": "Even though I went to five dermatologists with the coordination of the federation and used the medicines suggested by the doctors, my problem was still not fully resolved and my body was weak. I had a difficult situation and I lost a match in which I was ahead 6-1 because my body was exhausted. I was ashamed of the people, but I will definitely make amends in the future. I had defeated the person who won the 60 kg weight in a tournament some time ago and only this illness prevented me. It became me."

The important issue was the impossibility of introducing a replacement for Mohammad Ashiri due to the time-consuming process of the American visa, and this issue took away Iran's chance of a definite medal.
