Illegal Well Drilling in the Hamoun Wetland Bed Prevented

Head of the Zabol County Department of Environmental Protection said: Zabol County Environmental Protection Unit forces, during patrols and field inspections in the Hamoun-Helmand and Kooh-e Khajeh area, prevented herders from continuing efforts to dig a well in the Hamoun wetland bed.

The head of environmental protection department of Zabel city said: The forces of environmental protection unit of Zabel city, during patrol and field control in Hamon Hirmand and Khawajeh area, prevented the sarbans from continuing to try to dig wells in the Hamon wetland bed.
