How did Arash Mohammadi become an experimental entrance exam in the war?

The holder of the first place in the experimental test group in the national exam 1405 says of his tortuous path to success that was accompanied by Corona, 12-day war, 40-day war and the postponement of the exam.

According to the report of Ambassador Arjan, the conversation with Arash Mohammadi is the rank of an experimental exam.

What was the first reaction of you and your family when the exam results were announced and you found out that you were ranked first in the country?

Before the results were announced, I was expecting to rank fifth or sixth. I thought that if my rank was in the single digits, they would call me and inform me before the results were announced publicly; But I had not received a call.

The press conference of Sanseh Organization was held at 10:30. I thought to myself, since they haven't called, I'm probably not in single digits. I was in my room, prostrating and listening to the announcement of ranks at the same time. First, the top ranks of the human sciences group were announced, and then it was the turn of the experimental sciences group.

When I found out that I was ranked first, I jumped up and cried tears of joy. I hugged my mother. At first, he thought that I was upset and crying because of not getting the expected rank; But when I said that I was number one, he cried too. My little sister was also touched and cried when she saw us crying.

When did you seriously start studying for the entrance exam and how did you come to the conclusion that you can get the top rank in the country?

I started studying from the summer of 9th to 10th grade, but at that time I still did not have the necessary seriousness. My serious study started at the beginning of 11th grade. At first, I never imagined that I would become the number one country.

When I was in 10th grade, my goal was to get into medicine. In the 11th grade and after seeing the test results, I came to the conclusion that I can be accepted as the best rank in Hamadan province in the field of medicine. In the twelfth grade, by evaluating my performance, I hoped to get a single-digit rank, and I finally achieved this goal.

If you were to summarize your path to success in three words, what would you say?

I summarize my path to success in three words: effort, staying away from the edges and persistence. The entrance exam in 1405 was accompanied by difficulties and difficult conditions. During our education, the 7th, 8th and 9th years coincided with Corona; In the 11th grade, we experienced the 12-day war, and in the 12th grade, the 40-day war happened, and even the 12th grade exams were postponed. In such a situation, what is important is that the student can maintain his effort and persistence and not allow external events to stop his path.

When was the most difficult part of your education and how did you overcome it?

The most difficult period for me was the 40-day war. Before that, I used to go to school and communicate with my friends through social networks; But with the closure of schools and limited access to the Internet, our communication with each other was also largely cut off.

My mental and everyday conditions had changed. Before the war, I used to wake up at six in the morning and go to school, but during the war, I sometimes slept until around noon. This change of circumstances was difficult for me.

However, my goal was clear and I wanted to get a single digit rank. On the other hand, the competitive yet friendly atmosphere among the students in our school strengthened my motivation. When I saw my friends trying, I told myself that I should try to keep up with them.

On days when you were tired or discouraged, what would motivate you again?

Fatigue and frustration can happen to anyone. On such days, seeing the efforts of my friends motivated me. I didn't want to fall behind them and this made me continue to study again.

Of course, religious beliefs were also very important to me in this path. Whenever I felt discouraged, the feeling that God was with me strengthened my motivation. This belief was also relaxing for me when I was stressed during the exam session.

What ranks did your friends get and what effect did their company have on your success?

In 11th grade, a group of five or six students from the school got together in a meeting and discussed getting single digit ranks the next year. At that time, reaching such a result was far from our minds, but this year my friends achieved very good results.

Mr. Hamzaei ranked 7th, Moulazadeh ranked 25th, Daneshvar ranked 60th, and Mahmoudzadeh ranked 68th in their experimental group. Shanezaz also got 40th rank in mathematics.

We helped each other along the way. If one of us found a suitable sample question or test, he would share it with others. It was not like keeping useful resources for ourselves and depriving others of them.

I believe our success was intertwined. If my friends didn't achieve good results and there wasn't that atmosphere of effort and companionship between us, maybe I wouldn't have been able to get the first rank in the country.

Most of the exchange of resources and questions was done through social networks. In school, we sometimes went to the table, solved questions and discussed with each other about different ways to answer questions.

What was the role of school and attending Sampad schools in your success?

In my opinion, school alone does not determine success. There were students in our school who did not achieve their desired results; Therefore, it is important how each student uses the school's capacities and how to proceed with their educational conditions.

In the sixth grade, I participated in the entrance exam of schools of brilliant talents. At first, I did not think that I would be accepted, but I was accepted. Due to the conditions of virtual education, I passed the 7th and 8th grades online and then I was placed in the school environment. Fortunately, in our school, the aspect of friendship was stronger than competition. We all wanted to succeed, but this did not prevent us from withholding useful information and resources from each other. We tried to support each other while competing.

During your studies, did you encounter people who did not believe in your ability to succeed?

No; During my studies, no one told me that I could not succeed. The school teachers also always motivated me. Sometimes they said that I have the capacity to get the first rank. At first, I thought that these words were said to increase my motivation, but these words made me work with more motivation.

What role did your family play in your success? If you were to dedicate your success to a family member, who would you choose?

I dedicate my success to my mother; Because he always supported me. My mother never forced me to study and she never said that I should study. Sometimes even when I was studying for a long time, he asked me to take a break and come out of my room to eat.

I was motivated to study. When I saw my friends trying, I wanted to try and not fall behind them. Besides, my family always supported me and supported me in difficult situations.

You have said that you do not prefer your country to anywhere in the world, why do you prefer to stay in Iran?

It should be noted that some of the facilities and capacities of other countries have been formed by the migration of elites from developing countries.

If the elites stay in their country and the right conditions are provided for their activities, they can contribute to the scientific progress and development of their country's facilities. In order to realize this issue, conditions must be provided so that the elites have sufficient motivation to stay and work in the country.

It is an honor for every person to be able to serve his community. If the conditions are right, I don't want to deprive myself of this opportunity and honor.

What are your plans for your academic and professional future and what service would you like to provide to Hamedan and the country?

I plan to study medicine at Tehran University and make changes in the field of medicine in the future. Of course, to talk more precisely about the context of this development, I must first enter the field of medicine and become more familiar with its various dimensions. All in all, I like to be a useful person and be able to serve people.

People usually think that the rank of one entrance exam will devote all hours of the day to study. What was your daily schedule like during entrance exams?

I used to wake up at six in the morning and go to school. I would return home around 14:30, have lunch and rest. I usually woke up at five in the afternoon and started studying.

In the middle of studying, I would eat dinner and if there was a movie or TV series that I was interested in, I would watch it. We also went to parties and life was not completely shut down. Sometimes I would study until midnight or one in the morning to finish the topics I had planned for that day.
