Jalali: By continuing to resort to force and the language of ultimatums, America will not get any results

The ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Russia emphasized that the US will not get any result by continuing to resort to force and the language of ultimatums, but the situation in the region will become more complicated, and said: What can lead the region to peace will be the path of honest, transparent and genuine negotiations and dialogue.

According to Ambassador Arjan Kazem Jalali, our country's ambassador in Moscow explained the fundamental positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran on regional issues, especially the brutal aggression of the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran, on behalf of our country at the meeting of the Collective Security Treaty Organization between the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

According to Ambassador Arjan's account, he said in a statement: It was the second time in the past year that America used negotiations as a tool of deception and attacked the Islamic Republic in the middle of the talks.

This diplomat of our country also said: They were looking for the so-called change of government in Iran without knowing that Iran is different from other countries. Iran is so strong that it can stand against all the military capacity of the enemies.

Jalali added: Many countries were involved in the military aggression against the Islamic Republic, but they could not force Iran to take a step back. However, Iran repeatedly declared that it adheres to real diplomacy to reach a stable and long-term solution; Although we do not see the seriousness and will for real negotiations on the other side.

Our country's ambassador in Moscow stated: I say with confidence that by continuing to resort to force and the language of ultimatums, America will not get any results, but the situation in the region will become more complicated.

He pointed out: What can lead the region to peace will be the path of honest, transparent and real negotiation and dialogue.

Jalali reminded: America and the Zionist regime used everything they could against Iran in the recent military aggression that began on February 28, 2026, during the 40 days of imposed war, but the end result was a lasting victory for the Islamic Republic of Iran. During this period, they attacked 126,000 civilian units, including residential areas, hospitals, schools, mosques, and even churches and economic infrastructure, which led to the martyrdom of about 4,000 ordinary Iranian citizens. Among them, 220 were children and 250 were women.

He pointed out that a clear example of their crimes was the missile attack on Minab city school, which resulted in the martyrdom of 168 male and female students between the ages of 7 and 12.

This diplomat of our country stated that the United States and the Zionist regime imposed an aggressive and unequal war against Iran twice in the past one year, violating the principles of international law and the fundamental rules of the United Nations Charter, and said: These attacks were carried out while political negotiations were still ongoing, but in an open terrorist operation, they attempted to assassinate and martyr Ayatollah Imam Khamenei, the supreme leader of the Islamic Revolution, a group of his family, and a number of military commanders and government officials.

He emphasized: According to the internationally accepted rules, the assassination of the political leaders of countries is included in the definition of state terrorism, which, of course, America has a long history.

Ambassador Arjan also reported that the ambassador of the Islamic Republic in Moscow continued: "Iran has repeatedly confirmed its commitment to real diplomacy to achieve a stable and long-term agreement, but we do not see any serious will for real negotiations on the other side."

According to this Iranian diplomat, what is happening today in the Strait of Hormuz, the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Bab al-Mandeb is a direct result of the aggression of the US and the Zionist regime and the naval blockade against Iran.

This Iranian diplomat added: "The United States has a wrong understanding of the Iranian people, and this can be seen in the registration of millions of Iranians to participate in the defense of the country. Our people always stand in defense of their land and do not doubt for a moment."

He further noted: "More than 33 million Iranians have officially registered to participate in the defense of the country and are ready to resist any new aggression."
