In 12 days, a new person will be chosen/ the time of choosing the new CEO of Esteghlal has been determined

The chairman of Esteghlal's board of directors says that the desired option for the CEO has been introduced and after receiving the approval of Persian Gulf Holding and regulatory institutions, his decision will be issued.

According to "Varzesh Se", the selection of the new CEO of Esteghlal has not yet been completed and the fans are waiting for the official announcement of the name of the new manager of the Blues. In recent weeks, the names of Farshid Samii and Mustafa Motdin have been mentioned in the media, but without confirming the name of the final option, Ali Tajernia described the remaining legal procedures to introduce the CEO.

The chairman of the board of directors and acting CEO of Esteghlal said: "With the change of the representatives of the legal members of the board of directors, a new composition has been formed. This combination must first be registered to become legal. "The board of directors previously had a choice about the CEO, which has been raised again in the new term, and now we are waiting for the legal procedures to go through."

Tajernia explained about the required approvals: "We need two approvals. The CEO of Persian Gulf Holding's subsidiary companies must attend the holding's appointment committee and get approval. "This has not happened yet, because the board's decision has just been made."

He continued: "According to the approvals given to us by the Football Federation, the CEOs of the clubs must also receive the approval of the regulatory bodies. The sensitivities are more on Esteghlal and Persepolis, and in the meantime, there is more sensitivity on Esteghlal. We understand this issue, we have no problem with it and we have agreed to get this approval as well."

Acting CEO of Esteghlal said about the end time of this process: "I don't think this process will take more than 10 to 12 days. Hopefully, Esteghlal will soon have a new CEO."

In response to the question whether the club is waiting for the confirmation of the proposed option, Tajernia said: "Yes, a proposal has been made by the board of directors and sent to the holding. After the announcement of the holding's opinion, the regulatory bodies will also be questioned. If both steps are completed, the selected person will be placed in the position of CEO.

He did not rule out the possibility of changing the option and added: "If there is a need to change at any stage or the person in question gives up on the way, as we have done before, we will replace another option."

The chairman of Esteghlal's board of directors said in another part of his speech about the title of the authorized representative of the holding: "A few months ago, I wrote a letter to the respected CEO of the holding and requested that they take the title of the authorized representative from me. "From the very beginning of my presence, I never used this authority and we always tried to make decisions in the form of a board of directors, but this title caused attacks on Esteghlal Club."

He continued: "If what I want happens, decisions will be made based on corporate governance and with the presence of the board of directors. The holding has also given this authority to the board of directors. Part of the delay in choosing the CEO was due to the conditions of last year, war, inflammation and the created atmosphere.

Explaining the reason for his continued presence in the executive role of the club, Tajernia said: "Friends were kind and said that since you came, there have been no more gatherings and shouts, and for now you should continue your work." Every time we asked about the time to choose the CEO, they said to continue now that it is you. "Despite the pressure that some institutions put on the holding, their kindness towards me made them want me to move forward."

In the end, he said: "At the last stage, we announced that thanks to God, independence is now in a good state, it has stable conditions, and there is no longer any special problem."
