Pezeshkian’s Deputy: During the Dey Incidents, Police Forces Stood Firm and Did Not Allow Planned Insecurity to Materialize / I Thank the Police for Being Kind to the People

The Executive Deputy to the President, stressing that security, health and education are the inherent duties of governments, said: The Law Enforcement Command (FARAJA), through its round-the-clock and selfless presence, is ensuring the country’s security, and if people are continuing their activities in peace today, they owe it to the efforts of these guardians of the nation’s security.

According to the report of Ambassador Arjan, quoted by the public relations of the Executive Vice President of the President, Mohammad Jaafar Qaimpanah, in the appreciation ceremony for the officers and employees of the police command stationed in the presidential institution, which was held on the occasion of Faraja week and with the efforts of the presidential institution's mobilization center in the Kawsar building, while congratulating the Faraja week, he appreciated the efforts and efforts of the police forces around the clock in ensuring the security of the country and protecting the complex of the presidential institution.

Stating that governments have three basic duties including security, health and education, he said: These three are the inherent duties of every government and they cannot be left to the private sector or elsewhere. Fortunately, the police force and Faraja have always tried to maintain the security of the country with different titles during the years of the revolution and after.

Referring to his personal experience of being in the field of protection and security, Qaim Panah said: I myself was once a teacher and a student, but I was also a member of the committee and in the fields of protection and security for a while. There were nights when we didn't sleep on the road until morning, which means being in danger every moment and life on the floor.

Referring to the sensitive conditions of the country, he pointed out: Today, considering the conditions that exist, we are all on the verge of death, but you, dear ones, are on this path more than others and bear a heavy responsibility.

Iran stood against the great powers

Referring to regional and international developments and conditions, the executive vice president said: These days are important days for our country and Iran. I myself did not imagine that we would achieve such a military power that we could compete against America, Israel and their supporters in terms of military.

Ghaempanah added: Of course, in my opinion, the propaganda of the enemy in the world does not allow the power and capability of Iran to be portrayed as it should be.

Referring to the country's defense progress, he said: "Our martyred leader, with the right doctrine they chose for the country and its foundation was based on the production of indigenous missiles and drones, made us able to produce them in large numbers today and not depend on anyone."

The Executive Vice President continued: Mass production of indigenous equipment has challenged the enemy's military calculations. Because sometimes it costs much more to deal with a low-cost drone.

He emphasized: The Islamic Republic of Iran has stood up to foreign pressures and threats and has not allowed the enemy's goals to be realized in the country.

Faraja created an epic in providing internal security

In another part of his speech, Qaim Panah, referring to the efforts of the police forces in internal incidents and unrest, said: One of the enemy's goals, which he failed to achieve, was the internal goal. The enemy tried to take advantage of the grievances, but the police forces created an epic in the domestic arena.

Referring to the events of January, he stated: The events of January were not a small incident; It was hard, painful and accompanied by a deep wound, but the police forces did not allow the plans designed to create insecurity and instability in the country to be realized with their presence and standing.

Referring to memories of the presence of police forces in the border areas and clashes with armed groups, the executive vice president said: "Faraja forces were surrounded for hours in very difficult conditions and they also offered martyrs." These are part of the saga that the police forces have created to maintain the security of the country.

Referring to his visit to the country's border areas, Qaim Panah added: "The enemy tried to create an infiltration route in some border areas and police stations, but the border guard and police forces did not allow the country's security to be compromised by standing and resisting."

Appreciating the police forces, he said: You have stood by Iran despite all the difficulties and hardships, including livelihood problems and issues related to rights and life, and we are really proud of you.

Appreciation of the kindness of the police to the people

The Executive Vice President also appreciated the behavior and interaction of the police forces with the people and said: I thank you for being kind to the people and doing your duty despite all the difficulties.

Ghaem Panah added: I know it is difficult. Standing at the police station or the street from night to morning, not sleeping and always being in danger, is self-sacrifice and this sacrifice should be appreciated.

Referring to the historical and civilizational importance of Iran, he also said: Iran is not an ordinary country and has its roots deep in history. A country with a history of thousands of years, which is still standing against the pressures by relying on its identity and capacities.

The executive vice president criticized the dual approach of human rights claimants and stated: How can those who target schools, make children martyrs, and assassinate the political and religious leaders of a nation claim human rights?

If we have peace today, we owe it to Faraja's efforts

In the final part of his speech, Qaimpanah considered security as the basis of the activities of all sectors of the society and said: If you do not sleep at night and stand guard despite all the problems and defend people's safety in the police station and on the street, we are proud of you.

He clarified: If we have peace today, we owe it to you. If the president sits in his room and works comfortably, he owes it to you. If our children and grandchildren go to school and if the doctor continues to work peacefully in his office, it all depends on the security you have established.

The executive vice president noted: You are the security guards of the country and we are proud of you.

At the end, Qaim Panah expressed his hope that by passing through the current critical situation, Islamic Iran will continue its path more proudly than in the past and that the Iranian flag will be raised more in the world.

At the end of this ceremony, which was held in the presence of the officials and staff of the Basij center of the presidential institution and the officers of the police command stationed in the institution, the efforts and services of the Faraja employees were honored by presenting certificates of appreciation and gifts.
