The British Maritime Trade Operations Organization announced the attack on the second oil tanker in an area northeast of Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia.

According to Ambassador Arjan, quoted by Anatoly, the British Maritime Trade Operations Organization announced on Saturday that a second attack on an oil tanker was reported in an area near the coast of Saudi Arabia.

According to the announcement of this organization, this incident happened at 19:22 GMT on Friday, at a distance of about 78 nautical miles, equivalent to 144 kilometers, northeast of Al-Jeabil city.

The tanker's captain reported that the vessel was hit by a rocket-propelled grenade fired by the occupants of a small boat and that its left rear section was damaged.

All crew members have been identified and are safe. However, a full assessment of the damage caused to the oil tanker and the possible environmental consequences of this incident has not been done yet.

Officials are investigating the incident and the UK's Maritime Trade Operations has asked vessels operating in the area to exercise caution and report any suspicious activity.

This incident occurred after the British Maritime Trade Operations Organization reported hours before that another oil tanker had been hit by an unidentified projectile at a distance of about 68 nautical miles, equivalent to 126 kilometers, northeast of Al-Jubeil. In the first incident, all the crew were evacuated safely and no report of environmental consequences was published.
