Warning on Circulation of Influenza and COVID-19 / Emphasis on Protecting High-Risk Groups

The Deputy for Treatment at Iran University of Medical Sciences, pointing to rising spread of respiratory viruses with the onset of cold weather and the academic year, stressed the greater risk of influenza and COVID-19 for the elderly, children, and people with underlying conditions, and called adherence to health recommendations essential.

Referring to the increase in the prevalence of respiratory viruses at the same time as the beginning of the cold season and the academic year, the vice president of treatment of Iran University of Medical Sciences, while emphasizing the greater risk of influenza and corona for the elderly, children and people with underlying diseases, called it necessary to comply with health recommendations.
