Competing for the important award of Asian football/ Asani, Sardar, Ronaldo, Shoja!

The best players of Asian football this week were announced.

According to Sport Seh, after the end of the second week of the elite league matches, the Asian Football Confederation announced the eight best players for the West region matches. In this list, there are three Iranian players, each of whom played an important role in one of their teams' matches.

Shoja Khalilzadeh, the defender of Tractor, is one of the players in this list. In the second week of the tournament, Tractor reached a goalless draw against Al Shamal Qatar and earned its first point in the league stage. Shoja played for the Tabrizi team in this match and was among the best players in a situation where the match ended without a goal.

Hossein Gudarzi, defender of Esteghlal, is another representative of Iranian football in this list. Esteghlal won the match against Al Gharafa of Qatar with a result of 2:1. After Farjani Sassi scored the equalizing goal for the Qatari team, Gooderzi scored the winning goal of Esteghlal in the 60th minute for the blue-clad team to celebrate their second consecutive victory in this competition.

Sardar Azmoun was also included in this list with a brilliant performance in the UAE Shabab Al-Ahli team. In the match against Al Ittihad of Saudi Arabia, the Iranian striker scored both of his team's goals so that Shabab Al-Ahli won with a result of 2:1. This win brought six points out of two matches for the Emirati team and made Azmoun one of the prominent faces of the second week.

Along with the three Iranian players, Christopher Bonso Bah from Saudi Arabia, Roger Ibanez from Saudi Arabia's Al-Ahli, Hossein Rahimi from Al-Ain of the United Arab Emirates, Angelo from Saudi Arabia's Nasr and Ollie Watkins from Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal are also present in this list.

Roger Ibanez scored in Al-Ahly's 3-1 win against Al-Wasl of Emirates. Hossein Rahimi also played an important role in his team's high-scoring victory by scoring two goals in the 4-1 victory of Al-Ain against the Iraqi Air Force. Angelo scored the first goal of the Saudi team during the 3-1 victory over Al-Nasr against Naftchi of Uzbekistan, and Oli Watkins also scored one of the goals in Al-Hilal's 2-0 victory over Al-Saad Qatar.

In the second week, Al-Qadisiya drew 1-1 against Pakhtakor of Uzbekistan. Bonso Bah, the player of this team, was another name on the list of the Asian Football Confederation.

The presence of three Iranian players among the top eight players of the week is the noteworthy point of this list. Azmoun with two goals, Godarzi with Esteghlal's winning goal, and Khalilzadeh in Tractor's goalless match are three representatives of Iranian football in this group.
