Peugeot and Pride Collide on Dorahak–Abadan Road, Two Dead

Bushehr – Kangan Highway Police Commander reports two people killed and one injured after a Peugeot 405 and a Pride pickup collided on the Dorahak–Abadan road.

Bushehr - Kangan road police commander announced that 2 people died and 1 person was injured after the collision of 2 Peugeot 405 cars and a Pride Bar on the Dorahak-Abdan axis.

Colonel Seyed Mustafa Hosseini Safat said in a conversation with Mehr reporter: This incident happened in front of Sarmestan village in Abadan district and two people lost their lives and one person was injured due to the collision of two cars.

He added: In this incident, a 35-year-old man belonging to a Peugeot 405 car and a 40-year-old woman from the passengers of Pride Bar died.

The Kangan Road Police Commander continued: The 30-year-old Pride Bar driver was also injured and was taken to Imam Khomeini (RA) Kangan Hospital by the emergency forces.

Hosseini Safat noted that the cause of this accident is under investigation by road police experts.

Hossein Nazemianpour, head of Deir Health Network, also said: Upon notification to the emergency medical center about the accident between two Peugeot 405 and a Pride van on the Deir-Abdan axis between the villages of Lohak and Sarmestan, two ambulances from the 115th emergency station of Durahak and Abadan were immediately dispatched to the accident site.

He added: In this incident, a 45-year-old female passenger in the Pride van died and the driver of the Pride van, a 25-year-old man, was taken to Imam Khomeini Hospital in Kangan by the 115 emergency fleet.

He continued: The victim was injured in the head and chest area.

The head of Deir city health and treatment network said: The driver of the Peugeot 405, a 35-year-old man, was taken to Imam Khomeini Hospital (RA) and despite the efforts of the medical and nursing staff, he died in the hospital due to injuries to the vital parts of the body.

Nazimianpour stated: The cause of this accident is under investigation by traffic experts.
