Rostami: Executive and Technical Infrastructure for Elections in North Khorasan Is Ready

Bojnourd - The deputy political governor of North Khorasan announced that the executive and technological infrastructure in North Khorasan is ready to hold the Islamic City and Village Council elections.

According to Mehr reporter, Taher Rostami said in the provincial election headquarters meeting held in North Khorasan governorate meeting hall on Wednesday afternoon: North Khorasan is well prepared for holding the 7th round of city and village Islamic council elections in terms of executive infrastructure and technology.

He added: All executive bodies, governors and those involved in the elections should immediately follow the timetable and legal and executive procedures with more precision and discipline after the announcement of the election time by the Ministry of Interior and the Election Headquarters.

Rostami, emphasizing the necessity of stability of communication infrastructure and information technology, said: with the cooperation of Iran Telecommunication Company, Irancell, all BTS sites in need of repair should be identified and serviced in order to prevent disruptions in communications and election implementation processes.

Pointing to the sensitivity and importance of this period of elections in the current situation of the country, the political deputy of the governor of North Khorasan stated: observing impartiality and rule of law, maintaining social capital and holding healthy elections are the main priorities of the province's election headquarters.

He also informed about the prohibition of drilling in the time frame of five days before the election and two days after it and added: This matter should be followed up with the coordination of the Provincial Drilling Commission in order to prevent the disruption of infrastructure and city services during the election days.

Rostami stressed the necessity of training users and all the executive agents of the elections and noted: All those involved must be 100% ready and take the planned maneuvers seriously so that on the day of the election, the processes will be carried out without worries and with full preparation.
