A Few Good Men and Other Desert Towns , the star-studded new Broadway revivals, sold out runs last week, with the second production (starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Ed Harris, Allison Janney, Joe Carey and Lily Robb) topping the box office with more than $2 million.
As impressive as that number is, it's still far from the highest-grossing week: The ever-popular Hamilton , which was recently recharged with the return of co-star Christopher Jackson, earned $3,090,634.
All three shows, along with Billy Crystal's new 860, Oh, Mary! (now starring Bowen Young) and Chicago (with Rhys Weaver), helped boost totals for Broadway's 29 productions to $35,292,434 for the week ending Oct. 11, up 27 percent from the previous week. The total number of participants this week was 248,496, which was about 10% more than the previous week.
A new infusion of star power helped the strong figures. A Few Good Men, a revival of Aaron Sorkin's classic court-martial drama at Lincoln Center's Non-Professional Theater, starring Sorkin's old West Wing pal Bradley Whitford (with Tom Blythe and Krista Rodriguez), grossed $555,367 in its first three previews. The official opening night is set for Thursday, October 29.
Other Desert Towns, directed by John Benjamin Hickey, John Robin Baitz's drama, earned $2,157,355 in eight previews at the Hudson. Opening night is October 18.
Crystal's solo show 860 — the title refers to the address of the comedian's longtime home, which burned in the Pacific Palisades fires — filled 92 percent of its seats at the Imperial, a significant improvement from last week's 83 percent. The gross of the seven previews was $1,173,760. Opening night is October 21st.
Another Roundabout non-professional is The Imaginary Invalid starring Bill Irwin, which filled 90 percent of the Haimes seats and grossed $429,863. Opening night is October 22.
In the 20th week of the 2026-2026 season, Broadway has earned $628,508,592 season-to-date, down about 8% from this time last year, and total attendance of 5,155,377 is down 3% from last year.
