Seizure of ۵,000-billion-toman smuggled cargo in Bandar Abbas waters

Bandar Abbas – Commander of the Border Guard of the Law Enforcement Force said that border guards at the Bandar Abbas Marine Station seized a tugboat and two barges carrying machinery and equipment valued at 50,000 billion rials.

Bandar Abbas - Faraja border guard commander said: Border guards of Bandar Abbas naval base managed to seize a tugboat along with two barges carrying machinery and equipment worth 50 thousand billion Rials.

According to Ambassador Arjan's report, Sardar Ali Akbar Javaidan said: "The profiteers were planning to illegally import the super-heavy cargo into the country, and they were caught in the clutches of the law with the vigilance and careful intelligence monitoring of the border guards of Bandar Abbas."

He stated that the following items were discovered during a detailed inspection of the seized tow truck and two barges with it, and stated: Border guards succeeded in discovering 70 heavy road construction machines including loaders, graders, excavators and heavy vehicles, 150 special rubber rings for road construction machines, 150 pieces of accessories and equipment for road construction machines.

Sardar Javidan pointed out: during this surprising operation; 6 accused were arrested and after the filing of the case, they were handed over to the judicial authorities for legal procedures.
