Fans are comparing Grand Theft Auto 6's latest trailer to its first trailer, complaining that it's a vague "downgrade."

God forbid someone in the Rockstar Games marketing department decided to add some artistic flair to a trailer

Rockstar Games gave us a new minute-and-a-half-long trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 yesterday, and it gave us everything - army stories, shower sex scenes, Jason tossing one of the boats, a guy saying "Grand Theft Auto" and, most importantly, a very blurry camera.

Wait - wait, I thought the internet was joking about how vague the trailer looked. Turns out, no, some people are really worried about the beauty of the blurry camera lens featured in the latest GTA 6 trailer, to the point where some are even accusing Rockstar Games of "watering down" the graphics before release.

Obviously, what we see in the latest trailer is an image processing effect. Realists know this effect is commonly known as Gaussian blur, which, not to brag, but I knew off the top of my head. My film degree is really paying off at this point.

Look, I'm pretty sure Rockstar Games knows better than to give everyone a bunch of fake trailers for the most anticipated game of all time. You don't have to cancel your digital pre-orders just yet.

Additionally, as many have already pointed out online, this is likely just a setting that players can toggle on and off. Red Dead Redemption II had a bunch of filters, so don't worry, the marketing department just wanted to be a little artistic this time. Just count yourself lucky they didn't go full Yorgos Lanthimos on you and slap a fisheye filter on it instead (did I mention I still have a film degree?).
