Goudarzi Draws a Red Line for Trump / No More "Hit and Run"!
The spokesperson for the Parliament's Presiding Board, stressing the strengthening of Iran's defensive deterrence, warned that the era of "hit and run" has ended and any attack will face a multiplied response.
About Trump's claims and rhetoric, Abbas Gudarzi, the spokesman of the Islamic Council of Parliament, said: "The biggest and most important tool used by the enemy in the cognitive war against Iran is the use of threatening language and deceiving the public opinion."
He added: These threats are not only a new phenomenon, but since the beginning of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, dear Iran has always faced threats and sanctions. However, in the current situation, we can stand against the enemy by relying on the slogan "We can" which brings about the cohesion, unity, growth and excellence of the country, dignity, authority and strengthening the spirit of national self-confidence.
The Speaker of the Presidium of the Majlis emphasized: God has given the Iranian nation the ability to stand against the enemy and overcome all obstacles by relying on God's help, people's support, maintaining the spirit of self-belief and self-confidence. This issue is not only a religious doctrine, but also a divine promise and an experience that the Iranian nation has gone through before.
Gudarzi, stating that the enemy is targeting the people's resilience by using threats and sanctions and seeks to disrupt the officials' calculations, stated: What is important is that we do not neglect the divine help, the traditions of creation and our key national capabilities. If the enemy repeats his past mistakes against Iran, he will definitely regret it.
He considered the battle between Iran and America as an existential war and added: This war is a decisive battle for the final victory. The Islamic Republic of Iran and the great nation of Iran have been the definitive winners of this battle until today. Because the enemy has failed to achieve his goals; Of course, we have paid great costs for this victory, but we have stopped the enemy from reaching his goals.
Broujerd's representative in the parliament, stating that we are bound to resist the enemies, clarified: Our duty now is to stand on the path of resistance; Because resistance is not a choice for us, but a strategic necessity and the only way to reach a bright and prosperous future. On the other hand, if we act against this path, we will have nothing but loss and failure. Of course, the nation of Iran, relying on God's help, will steadfastly walk the path of final victory.
Godarzi considered defensive deterrence as one of the most important factors of final victory and repelling the evil of the enemy and said: Defensive deterrence means that the enemy knows that the era of "hit and kill" is over and if he strikes, he will face a multiple response. This factor has played a role in our recent victories.
He added: We must not only maintain the current deterrence, but also strengthen it so that decisive, extensive and devastating responses, along with the country's military progress, will bring the enemy to a point where he does not have the courage to covet our assets, resources and land.
The spokesman of the Presidium of the Parliament continued to consider increasing the defense capability as a factor in strengthening the economic power, production of science and the progress of the country and reminded: if there is no security, other areas of the country will also be at serious risk. Therefore, increasing the defense power will make the enemy never think of attacking the country.
Further, in response to a question about the multiplicity and contradictions of American officials' positions towards Iran and whether these contradictions are a part of Washington's specific strategy or are caused by internal differences in the United States, Guderzi said: This situation can be caused by internal differences and different views of supporters and opponents of anti-Iranian policies in the United States. Because America's plans and goals for Iran have not been realized and there are different and even conflicting views on how to deal with Iran. Also, these contradictions can be part of a strategy to upset the calculations of the authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In the end, Broujerd's representative in the parliament noted: In such a situation, we must be careful not to falter by maintaining our principles and foundations. Also, we must strengthen unity and cohesion, avoid division and differences, and step firmly in this direction.
