Yellow Weather Warning in Qazvin; Showers Possible in Some Areas

Qazvin – A Qazvin meteorology expert announced a yellow-level warning for possible scattered showers in some areas of the province on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Qazvin- Qazvin meteorologist announced the issuance of a yellow level warning for the possibility of showers and scattered rains in some areas of the province on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Mehdi Akhundi said in an interview with Mehr reporter: According to the weather forecast, the sky in Qazvin province will be mostly clear and sunny in the coming days, but as the waves pass through the middle level of the atmosphere, there is a possibility of showers and scattered rains in some areas on Tuesday afternoon and night, as well as on Wednesday afternoon.

Referring to the possibility of heavy rains in some parts of the province, Qazvin meteorologist said: Due to the seasonal conditions and the possibility of torrential rains, a yellow level warning has been issued. Because these rains may intensify in some areas, such as those observed last week, and bring localized damages.

He asked the citizens to be careful when traveling on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons, especially in the mountainous areas of the province, and be careful of slippery roads and reduced horizontal visibility.

This expert also pointed to the southerly flow of air on Tuesday and Wednesday and informed about the relative increase in the temperature of the province during this period.
