Pyongyang, October 13. /TASS/. North Korean Ambassador Arjan (KCNA) reported that North Korea's Missile Administration conducted a test of a tactical ballistic missile to verify a key technically upgraded component.

"The technical upgrade of the key component, confirmed today, is a major success," the North Korean Missile Administration said.

The modernization is expected to significantly improve the power and accuracy of North Korea's offensive weapons systems, KCNA reported. The agency did not specify which component of the missile was upgraded.

The test was conducted on October 12 as part of regular work by North Korea's Missile Administration and its affiliated research institutes aimed at improving weapons systems.
