Strengthening national defense capability is a strategic necessity; "faith" as the backbone of military power

Semnan – The Wali-e Faqih's representative in Semnan Province stressed the need for defensive readiness against the enemy, saying that strengthening human resources, equipment, and defense technologies must be on the armed forces' agenda.

Semnan - The representative of the Supreme Leader in Semnan province emphasized the necessity of defense preparation against the enemy and said: Strengthening manpower, defense equipment and technologies should be on the agenda of the armed forces.

According to Mehr reporter, Hojjatul Islam Morteza Matiei emphasized the need to strengthen the defense capabilities of the country in a meeting with the commander and staff of the 120th patrol battalion of Semnan Police Command held in his office on Thursday evening.

Referring to the teachings of the Holy Quran in the field of preparation against the enemy, he said: In the Holy Quran, God Almighty has ordered the believers to increase their strength and preparation to face the enemy.

The representative of Wali Faqih in Semnan province added: According to the order of the Holy Quran, the armed forces should always move in the direction of strengthening their capabilities in terms of manpower, equipment and defense technologies.

Pointing to the position of the martyred commanders of the armed forces, Matiei said: each of these commanders was a valuable asset for the country and their loss is considered a great loss. However, the path of struggle and defense of the Islamic system continues by relying on the faith, unity and sacrifice of the armed forces.

He also pointed to the resistance of the forces of the resistance front, including the fighters of Yemen, and stated: The resistance of the Yemeni forces and other fighters of the resistance front against the powers that have extensive military facilities, despite various limitations, shows that the defense power is not only dependent on the amount of equipment, but faith, will and jihadist spirit also play a decisive role in the battlefield.

Imam Juma Semnan praised the morale and readiness of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran and stated: The Martyr Leader of the Islamic Revolution and the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution have proudly mentioned the armed forces, and this honor is rooted in the country's possession of faithful, steadfast and selfless forces that do not leave the field even in difficult situations and fulfill their duties with all their might.

In the end, Matiei emphasized the spiritual position of service in the armed forces and said: service in the path of defending the Islamic system is a form of worship and soldiering of Imam Zaman (A.S.) and the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran strive to preserve the religion and safeguard the achievements of the system.
