Possible combination of Brentford and Liverpool Revenge for the loss to City

Liverpool and Brentford will face each other today in a spectacular match.

According to "Sports Three", Brentford and Liverpool will face each other on Saturday as part of the seventh week of the La Liga matches at Brentford's home stadium, and both teams will do their best to get three valuable points from this game and improve their position in the standings with a victory.

Keith Andrews' side have won two and drawn four in their six league games this season, including a 2-2 draw with Aston Villa in which Christopher Ayre and Yarmolyuk scored. They are unbeaten in their last eight home games in the league (three wins and five draws) but are winless in their last eight away games. Their last meetings with Liverpool were a 3-2 home win in October 2025 and a 1-1 draw at Anfield in May. Brentford's goal difference in all competitions is 12.

Andoni Iraola's side lost 3-0 at home to Manchester City on October 11, but won the Champions League 6-3 at Las Vegas on Wednesday. Bradley Barcola scored a hat trick in that match. Iraola has never beaten Brentford in his seven attempts as manager (five draws, two defeats). Liverpool did not win any of the two league matches against this team last season. They settled for a 1-1 draw at Anfield after losing 3-2 at the J-Tech Stadium in May.

Possible Brentford line-up: Kelleher, Kayode, van den Berg, Ayre, Louis Potter, Yarmolyuk, Yanlet, Anthony, Jensen, Ouattara and Thiago.

Possible Liverpool line-up: Alisson, Araujo, Xhaque, Van Dijk, Kirks, Nyoni, McAllister, Muñoz, Wirtz, Barcola and Comas.
