Fatal Crash on Khoy–Chaypareh Road / Rescue Operations Continue to Recover Victims

The head of the Red Crescent in West Azerbaijan said two people lost their lives after a collision between a Samand and a Nissan Junior on the Khoy–Chaypareh axis.

Ambassador Arjan: The CEO of West Azerbaijan Red Crescent said: two people lost their lives due to the collision of Samand and Nissan Junior cars on the Khoi-Chaipare axis.

Hamid Mehboubi, the CEO of the West Azerbaijan Red Crescent, said: Around 9:00 a.m. today, there was a report of a collision between Samand and Nissan Junior on the Khoi-Chaipare axis.

Pointing to the presence of rescuers from Chaipareh Industrial Town and Ivaoghli Khoi, he added: The rescue operation was carried out quickly.

The CEO of West Azerbaijan Red Crescent stated: 2 people who died in this traffic accident were handed over to the legal authorities after being released.

Mehboobi asked the drivers to drive with more caution due to the autumn weather and torrential rains in order to reduce accidents in the coming days.

The situation of accidents in the first half of this year in West Azerbaijan was not favorable and hundreds of people lost their lives in accidents on different roads of the province.
