Khorasan Razavi Governor: Developing Sports Infrastructure Is an Essential Necessity

Mashhad – Khorasan Razavi Governor has described the development of sports infrastructure as one of the province's key necessities.

Mashhad- Khorasan Governor Razavi considered the development of sports infrastructure as one of the important needs of Khorasan Razavi province.

According to Mehr reporter, Gholamhossein Mozafari, on Wednesday evening, in the third edition of Nishan Kaveh in Mashhad, appreciated the pride of the athletes of the province, emphasized the need to increase practical support, strengthen infrastructure and use the capacity of economic complexes for the development of sports.

Referring to the difficult conditions of the society, the governor of Khorasan Razavi stated: In a situation where the society is facing difficulties and problems from various aspects, we must use all the facilities and capacities available to serve the people, and sports is one of the best platforms to create vitality and hope in the society. Holding such meetings and honoring the athletes who bring honor to the country and the province in the most difficult conditions is a valuable action.

Emphasizing that the measures taken in the field of sports in the province are still far from the status and capacities of this region, he said: "In the past two years, we have talked many times about the state of sports in the province and the public environment has also improved, but the practical and executive measures are still not commensurate with the dignity of athletes and the status of Razavi Khorasan." In this area, we need more effort, wider coordination and more serious cooperation.

Appreciating the economic groups and companies that support the teams and athletes, Mozafari added: The groups that stand by the athletes in special circumstances and strive with all their might for their success deserve recognition. Razavi Khorasan has economic complexes and large companies that can play an important role in supporting sports in the province. Although initial steps have been taken in this direction, the progress has been slow and we must use the existing capacities more effectively.

Referring to Khorasan Razavi's sports abilities, Governor of Khorasan Razavi stated: This province has many talents in various sports disciplines and fields, and many athletes have always tried to make it proud. However, the position of Khorasan Razavi sports should be better than the current conditions and it is necessary to provide the ground for a more effective presence of this province at the level of the country.

He considered the development of sports infrastructure as one of the most important needs of the province and expressed hope that with the continuation of actions in this area, Saman and Mehran sports complexes will witness effective developments and more progress. At the same time, he emphasized that the development of sports is not limited to the construction and hardware facilities, and planning, management and software measures also play an important role in improving the sports environment of the province.

Emphasizing the necessity of supporting athletes and providing suitable conditions for their activities, Mozafari expressed hope that with the cooperation of more institutions, economic groups and sports activists, effective steps will be taken to improve the status of Razavi Khorasan sports.
