Lawyer of One of the Executed Defendants in the Dey Incidents Detained / Isfahan Judiciary Explains

Amirsalar Davoodi was formally charged on 19 Mehr with publishing computer lies with intent to disturb public opinion and incite people to kill one another, with the aim of disrupting national security and propagandizing against the system.

Amirsalar Davodi, the lawyer of Alireza Sepahi, who was executed, was arrested. The Isfahan court has charged this lawyer with spreading false news about his client's marriage with a girl named Mehshad Keshani before his execution. Mehshad Keshani himself is in Isfahan prison with "security charges".

According to the report of Ambassador Arjan, quoted by the Judiciary Information Center, the Chief Justice of Isfahan, referring to the reason for the arrest of Amirsalar Davodi, a lawyer, said: the named person had falsely published an article on his Instagram page about the marriage contract between Alireza Sepahi and Mehshad Keshani, which had caused propaganda abuse by the hostile media and alarmed the public.

Hojjat-ul-Islam Wal-Muslimin Jafari said: Justice Amirsalar Davodi, a few days before the execution of the death penalty for Alireza Sepahi, had falsely published an article on his Instagram page about the marriage contract between Alireza Sepahi (one of the main perpetrators of the crime that led to the brutal martyrdom of 4 police officers in Isfahan who was hanged) and Mehshad Keshani (convict of the security case who is in Isfahan prison).

He continued: The publication of this article on the lawyer's online page, after the execution of the punishment, led to the abuse of propaganda by the hostile media, including International, and the publication by Rabe Pahlavi on his personal page and inciting people by him, and it caused public concern and incited people to take action against national security.

Jafari added: In this regard and according to Article 180 of the Criminal Procedure Law approved in 2013, the judicial authority issued a summons to arrest the accused, and on October 19, he was accused of publishing computer lies with the intention of disturbing the public mind and inciting people to kill each other with the intention of disrupting the security of the country and propagandizing against the intelligence system.

He emphasized: The accused himself has confessed to these cases and has been transferred to Isfahan Central Prison with the issuance of a temporary arrest warrant and a bail warrant.

The Chief Justice of Isfahan reminded: The accused hid his mobile phone in an unknown place and considering that the audio file produced by the accused was published on the Maand network of Iran International, there is a possibility that the accused sent the file to that Maand network.
