Eight Citizens Rescued from Apartment Fire in Ahvaz

Firefighters in Ahvaz began firefighting and search operations after a fire broke out in a residential unit on Katanbaf Street, at the corner of Jahanian Street, and managed to rescue eight trapped citizens.

After a fire broke out in a residential unit located on Katanbaf St., corner of Jahanian St., Ahvaz firefighters attended the scene and started fire extinguishing and search operations in the building and succeeded in rescuing eight trapped citizens.

According to Ambassador Arjan of Khuzestan, citing the public relations of Ahvaz Fire Department, this incident happened on October 21, 1405 in a residential unit located on Katanbaf St., at the corner of Jahanian St.

After arriving at the scene of the accident, the firefighters put the fire suppression operation and search of different parts of the building on the agenda. Operational forces carried out specialized fire extinguishing measures and checked different parts of the building to find trapped citizens and move them to a safe place.

During this operation, eight citizens trapped at the scene of the accident were identified and rescued. After carrying out operational measures, the firefighters moved these people to a safe place.

Following this incident, Ahvaz municipality's fire department and safety services emphasized the necessity of observing safety principles in residential buildings and asked citizens to take safety tips seriously.

This organization also requested the citizens, in case of seeing a fire or encountering any emergency situation, while keeping calm, to inform the fire brigade as soon as possible through the 125 system so that the operational forces can take action to deal with the incident.
